I wish I would have seen this video before I did what I did…. Now it’s like I’m starting the whole process over with another company all because of being so stressed with the first one and giving up… I learned my lesson.
I will be graduating in about 1 and a half more years and I am wanting to go get my cdls and start driving but I am not sure what company yet I got a few tmc, burns motor freight, and a few more
I’m quitting after 4 months and going to Pepsi just to go local. Great advice though. I enjoyed otr but that first little snow storm scared me. It never snows in Atlanta.
where did you get your cdl and what company were you doing OTR for before you quit? I'm in the ATL area as well and I really want to do class A stuff but I DREAD OTR. Not the actual driving part of the job because that just comes with experience and time. But the lifestyle of being on the road makes me second guess wanting to get into it
Hello I'm looking into go to school or company that trains as well I have a CDL b with p but going to take combination to get CDL A permit, I'm in Florida I was wondering if you dont knowhow to drive a manual do they offer automatic? What would be best in your opinion?
Look at Schneider. They’ll pay for your trucking school or you can do their 5 week apprenticeship program. They’ll just require you to already have your CLP (Commercial Learner’s Permit) before applying for the apprenticeship
Am afraid of theses automated truck that will come sooner then later lol what do you guy's know about this and should we still quite our jobs and become truck drivers?

I’m glad I came across it before I decided to back out just now
I would say this advice applies to the vast majority of jobs, especially if starting in a new field.
