A diploma don't make us a teacher but we will be proud of ourselves. But take it easy.heavens can wait for us .don't be in a hurry. Off am I, but what we need is practice every single day. Don't exasperate . Step by step. Bit by bit from dusk to dawn.
I think the Cambridge exams are better because they provide a certificate showing ur permanent level if u achieve an advanced or proficiency exam it means that u are advanced so U will always have this sense of achievement while the Ielts exam can expire and only to apply for universities
Hello, a bit late but just letting you know that many master programs don't accept Cambridge, but everything accepts academic IELTS. So that's a point to consider.
I won't mind taking IELTS again. I did it just to gain Univeristy Entrance a year earlier than intended. However: Now that I'm years removed, I feel that my short-term memory is so much worse, which is vital for listening exam as you don't have a second chance to hear the answers again.
That's understandable. It can be challenging to remember details after a long time, especially with the pressure of an exam. I think that it might be beneficial to review the material and practice before you take the IELTS again. That way, you can refresh your memory and gain confidence in your ability to do well. Good luck!
Good job teacher I am so as to speak traveling around Spanish mainland dragging around Catalonia. See you soon. No worries ,as usual from scratch I will catch up on your lessons as speedlight
Thank you for pointing that out! That is a crucial difference between the Cambridge exams and the IELTS. It is important to be aware of this when preparing for either exam.
Will you make a course here in the channel for preparing to the ilets? If you will not what is best resourse to prepare for ilets. With my best wishes for you. You are a good person
Yes, it's true that the Oxford exam is gaining more attention in Spain. However, the Cambridge exam is still an important qualification to have and is widely recognized. Therefore, it is important to consider all options before deciding which exam is right for you.
Wow, thank you! 🙏 I do have a course where I teach my method (the one I used to change the way I speak). I also have a free pronunciation masterclass if you are interested. englishlikeanative.co.uk/english-pronunciation-masterclass-registration/
Hi there, I'm new to your channel. I'm working towards the c1 level of English. My biggest dream is to archive CAE certificate! Thank you for your videos!😊
So, if I have a B1 (although it's been a while since I remember if I have that level, I have some fluency in the language) and I don't have a certificate in that language, would I have to go to an English academy to be tested to see what level I have, and if I have that B1, would I have to prepare myself to pass the B2 exam?
I like the IELTS exam a lot: Much more relevant and realistic. I think that the Use of English section on the Cambridge exams is pointless: it's like word puzzles rather than anything connected to real English. It makes the exams about testing the candidates' ability to pass the exam rather than testing their ability with English. I had a student some years ago who I was training for B2-FCE. Her overall English was easily good enough, but a couple of exercises in UoE were a real problem and pulled her average score right down; she finished up not taking the test.
I completely agree - UoE is a bit of a pain and can really drag down a score. It's really unfortunate that it can end up being a barrier to success. I'm glad that your student was able to find a different way to demonstrate their English ability! The IELTS is definitely a much better option if they don't feel confident in UoE.

Very useful.
Missed a big one: On Cambridge exams you get to listen twice, on the IELTS the listening is only played one time.
That's why C exam takes almost 2 hour more than the IELTS😲
@@laurapavone3513 Listening one time makes the exam a lot more difficult, but also a lot more realistic.

What about Cambridge Linguaskill exam. Is it worth taking it? Do employers recognize it?
The Cambridge one is vital in Spain, but Oxford exam is stealing so much students these days..
