This was great. I have been extremely ideologically biased and driven in an effort to subconsciously escape from my feelings of disgust and now have become disgusting myself, I disgust myself lol. Well at least it allows me to feel the disgust instead of projecting it into the world.
Glad I found this video. Im learning how much my Avoidant Attachment Style has really kept me in dark regarding my emotions. Unawareness of negative emotions until contempt arises is more common than I thought. So again, Im glad I found this channel on emotional functioning to help learn awareness about my emotional states.
This was very helpful and exactly what I was missing. I’ve been doing some self healing and diving deep into my belief system. I always wondered why disgust was part of the basic emotions because I had a limited understanding. Thanks for clarifying
Amazing insight. Personally, I hold tight to my beliefs without showing contempts to others. I believe that each person, personal opinions and believes are a small part of the bigger picture, therefore, they cannot contradict, only add up to the truth. sorry about grammar, I’m blind.
