I read the Percy Jackson books almost back to back, I think it's the best way to do it. Honestly that series only worked for me on pure nostalgia from the movies and the excitment of the show, but I was going to read them anyway, but I feel like it was a one time thing. And then Uncle Rick releases a new one and I just nah I can't do it
Congratulations on 9 books ❤ I am still in a slump not as bad but still a slump i did finish a book in February it was a autobiography I've been in the mood for them so I read what I'm in the mood for....I am enjoying your channel I rewatch videos left and right and it inspires me a little each time so thank you ❤ such a Huge fan
Oh I found The Hobbit in a free little library, but I just can't get into the writing. I haven't even seen the adaption so going into it blind doesn't work either.
That's good to know! Red Rising sounds like it's not my thing! I'm sensitive and I had thought of picking it up based on the synopsis but nope. Taking that right off my library list
@@MaddysLibrary It does help! Especially when it's someone like me who never checks trigger warnings. I always forget, such a bad habit and my own fault. Although idk if that would be in a trigger warning but that's more just in general a good reminder
Just to let you know Stephen King wrote a fantasy called Eyes of the Dragon for his daughter. I’d say it’s happy and not disturbing if you want something like that from him to read.
I just read and sometimes that means finishing tons of books and other times it doesn't
Yes this is so true!!
@@MaddysLibrary Yes!
City if bones is the book that got me back into reading and into fantasy
It’s the perfect book to start with!
Yess I want to read all the CC books. I’m up to the 4th one. Glad to hear you liked city of bones. I believe they get better
I’ve heard that too!

Yeah I definitely should have read them all at once
@@MaddysLibrary Maybe you could listen to them through audiobook? Might work better
Yes that’s what I did for the fourth book and I think I’ll do it for the last one too!
@@MaddysLibrary Don't fix what's not broken! Some books just work better as audio books 👌
