Your hair is gorgeous! Could you do a hair video with all your stash? Greetings from Rio! Could you tell us more about your healthy hair journey? How long have you been relaxed? And how long did you take to achieve your results? Thank you
Hi! I love your videos and your hair is so beautiful! I use the 2-step treatment as well but the instructions say to sit under a hooded dryer or blow dry to activate the treatment. Do you find that you get good results by just air drying? I tried air drying and it didn't seem to work as well for me. Curious to know your thoughts!
Hi Chasing Self Beauty Thank you so much for tuning in to my channel. So yeah the product work well both ways for me, but I choose to not use heat because of the condition I feel my hair were in and did not need any heat at that time. So there could be a number reasons why you/ anyone else may experience different results it could be the porosity of your hair as well as your hair texture. I have fine to medium high porosity hair, and these types of hair absorb moisture & to me other product easily and in some cases looses it and dry easily. So we can be using the same product and get opposite results because there might be something different about our hair and technique that we have not yet identified. Hopefully this make sense
@@genesisalex Makes total sense! Now that you mention it, I do have low porosity hair so it takes a bit for my hair to adsorb products. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I look forward to watching more of your hair journey!
Hi Crown Insight Consulting Thank you so much for tuning into my channel. So I used to do a light protein treatment once every two months, but I have recently made a few Changes to my hair care regimen. So since that I have high porosity hair which requires a lot of moisture I have now move my protein treatment from once every two months to now once every month to maintain that balance.
Hi Bokuwatoki Thank you so much for tuning in to my Channel. This treatment used in this video is an intense treatment for extremely badly damaged hair. My hair wasn’t badly damaged at that time, but I used it as an emergency 🆘 because my hair is chemically processed, and at the time i used this treatment was because, I find that my hair elasticity was more elasticity than ever before, hence I had to go in with this 2 step method. To prevent damage and further or mayor breakage. My hair had this elasticity symptoms because I have high porosity hair which means that high porosity hair needs moisture, most of the products that I use are moisture based products, that is how my hair develop elasticity symptoms and in order to get the moisture and protein balance I used this treatment ones that month. Then the reconstructor which is on the mild side every two - three weeks. I’ll recommend this product to everybody but it have to be used accordingly, based on the actual symptoms hair shows at that moment to avoid protein overload. So yeah; it can be used once a month or until you get the results you are looking for. And don’t forget after every protein treatment you most go in with a deep conditioner.
@@genesisalex hi and yeah my hair is relaxed and I’m planning on switching to another relaxer because the one I used for over 15 years my hair doesn’t take it anymore so I’m gonna use Affirm for something new. My hair is a also naturally dry which I think that’s what high porosity means. My hair isn’t really really damaged but it really needs moisture from time to time; it even grows really fast. Im just focused getting my hair healthy so that’s why I thought maybe this intense treatment would help me out. But idk But since may hair is relaxed, and I have to keep moisturizing it, I can still use this treatment, right? Thank you for your reply.
@@bokuwatoki5983 yes you can but since you said that your hair isn’t really damaged I’ll recommend you used the Aphogee reconstructor it does the same job but not as intense as the 2 step. If you want to used the two steps I’ll recommend every six weeks. Until you get the results you looking for and trust me you will know. Again ensure that you keep your hair hydrated, Because protein tends to dry the hair.
@@genesisalexhi so the 2minute treatment, how often do you use it? Once a month or every two weeks? I wash my hair every two weeks. So, maybe for every wash? Also, are the steps something like: 1. Wash hair first (two times w/a kera care shampoo or something similar) 2. Apply the 2 minute treatment 3. Wash it off with shampoo 4. And then use a deep conditioner (I use ORS orange replenishment conditioner) 5. Wash again Do I also detangle after washing the two minute treatment or after I deep conditioner my hair after using the 2 minute treatment? Sorry for the confusion I just really need to know how Thank you for your patience
@@bokuwatoki5983No worries I’m here to help : This method can be done every two weeks So: 1. First you wanna detangle your hair. 2. Use a sulfate free shampoo, because any shampoo that contains sulfate will remove all the natural oils from the hair & protein itself tends to dry out the hair. So you want used a sulfate free hydrating shampoo ORS or KeraCare brand which every you Could get your hands on. 3. Then You wanna apply the reconstructor to damp hair. 4. After rinsing you want to ensure that you restore moisture back in the hair so you either use the KeraCare Humecto or a deep conditioner itself. 5. Add your leave- in and style as desire.
I always use Aphogee 2 step it really strengthens my hair. I use it every 3 months. Beautiful hair and great video.
