    Job done, I still have hard breaks, have vacuum, just replaced the booster, today the F Left ABS sensor. Plus, the bearings with confidence thanks to you. I will go back and get the right torque on the rotor. I was running out of daylight, so I slapped it on with a couple back and forth and then snuged it down. Your way looks correct... 😅

      With the ABS light out. Next, I will double-check the push rod on the booster vs. the oem. If that looks right, I'll replace the master cylinder. I figure that the last possible thing, right? 2002 E350 7
      3 powerstroke for context.

    Great video! Thanks! I’m replacing front rotors and hubs on a 2004 E450 camper chassis with rear duals. The front rotor extends out further to accommodate the dually wheel. Is the procedure and torque spec the same?

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  Месяц назад +1

      thanks for sharing, the rear duals are a little different but very similar, 8 wheel nuts at 9/16-18 148 ft-lbs and the ones with 5 nuts 103 ft-lbs

      @@JM-AUTO thanks for the quick reply and sorry for the confusion. I’ll be replacing the front rotors. The rotors I have extend out further than the ones in your video, I’m guessing to fit a deeper wheel that’s interchangeable with the rear duals. Is the torque spec and tightening sequence the same for the axle nut on my rotors/hub as what you show in the video?

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  Месяц назад +1

      @@rocks58 no problem, yes they have same torque specs

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  6 месяцев назад

      it is basically the same, the difference is almost nothing so the procedure is almost exactly the same.

      Packing the bearings, put a glob of grease in the palm of your left hand, take the bearing in your right hand and force the base of bearing into the glob over and over until it starts coming out between the rollers toward the top. Rotate and repeat over snd over and you’re done in less than a minute. Dad taught me how to do it properly over 50 years ago, he was a Navy trained mechanic I miss him everyday. Good video.
      God bless!
