חוגגים את כ"ח ניסן - יום כיבוש יריחו על ידי יהושע בן נון

יריחו נכבש ב-כ"ח ניסן, כאשר תקיעות השופרות של עם ישראל הפילו את חומותיה - תיכף אחרי ימי הפסח שעם ישראל חגג בארץ מייד אחרי חציית הירדן בהנהגתו של יהושע בן נון.
ביום שישי כ"ח ניסן תשע"ט, התפללנו שחרית בבית הכנסת העתיק ביריחו שלום על ישראל, תקענו בשופרות בתל יריחו וגם בקרנו בבית הכנסת נערן בצד הצפוני של יריחו.

The 28th Nissan marks the anniversary of the conquest of Jericho by Joshua Bin Nun. On that day, the Shofar blasts of Joshua and the priests caused the walls of Jericho to fall.
We mark this event every year on Tel Jericho.

Very good but disorganised. Would be better if someone called out the sounds then everyone was in unison.
I bet the old time Levites would do it different.
