- Despite all of the amount of issues we had on this trip, we still had a blast!
This video series was one of my favorite experiences. Driving across the country to California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and all the way back to Illinois was so awesome. Our 240sx drift cars held up great, despite the many obstacles. Driving my 240sx through a tree in California was definitely an awesome experience! Especially after we drifted across the country.
Theres something so rewarding when a machine you've built performs flawlessly. What you put in to something, is what you'll get out.

Both cars are reliable drift set ups but handle great on the road and track!

I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for a RB25det out of a R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, and dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings and more, the car handled amazing. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.

Gosh , this is just GOALS. I am really enjoying this kind of content ! The 240 sure is very very reliable , and ABSOLUTELY worth keeping alive. So many memories , so many good times with it , if I were you , I'd definitely do the exact same thing , I'd try to keep the 240 alive for as long as possible.
I do have a question though , in total , how many miles have you travelled in this trip? And overall , was it comfortable to drive and drift the 240 for so much time?

Could you potentially make a tiktok going over some of the things you bring with you when you go camping in your car? Whenever I'd go camping I'd take the truck bc id always bring a bunch of gear. I'd love to go to state parks in my Z and camp for pictures, and just being able to have my car with me. I just don't know the bare minimum for comfortable camping while being space conscious enough to fit it all in my hatch. Is this kind of trip better with a friend bc of more storage? I absolutely love watching these videos, you guys are going to all kinds of cool places and living it up! I hope I can do this kinda thing one day! have y'all compared the costs of camping near events instead of staying at a hotel? I could imagine camping out would be a good bit cheaper and it also really makes an adventure out of things. Please keep having more adventures and make more of this content!!! Man, I love road trips! I don't think I ever did any epic ones like this on my 240 back in the day, but I'm hoping to do one in it once I get it back on the road! Last few trips I can remember are this past summer we road-tripped from Chicago to North Carolina and back in our current 2019 Lincoln MKC (which I hate)... the Summer before all this covid crap we did a trip in a rented Audi Q5 from Charlotte, SC up to Kennebunkport, ME and back... Then quite a few years prior to that, I/we did a couple of back-to-back epic journeys... first was Chicago to Seattle and back to move my now wife here from Washington state, we chilled for a week or 2, then went down to New Orleans headed west across the top of Texas, up through New Mexico, and chilled in the Rocky Mtns. Colorado for a bit, before heading back home to Chicago. There've been a couple of drives for some backpacking as far North as The Porcupine Mtns. in Michigan and as far South as the Rocky Mtns in Tennessee with my brother in his car, but that's about it in the last decade'ish. As to Stevie's trailer... I imagine you guys got it back home even if you dragged it the rest of way on blown tires...

I get if you don't want to answer this, but about how much did a trip like this cost and what were the logistics like? How did you guys consistently re-up on tires and stuff? Itd be cool to budget for a trip like this one day but wouldn't even begin to know how much it would be lol. Also, always love the vibes of your videos!

I would love it if you could get away with driving and modifying cars and vehicles in total like you can in the UK. You cant even put on the.lug nuts with pointy ends on them in the UK your vehicle would fail the mot and if the traffic police caught you would get a warning if not even fined for having them on. Keep your 240 alive and kicking and keep up the great content

I was thinking the same thing... Go up through the Smokey's... hit the Tail... Run up the blue ridge parkway, then head over to Skyline drive, etc. Wanted to do that trip last year, but my wife wasn't interested... guess I'll have to do that one myself some day soon!
