    I'll tell you all this................The later you ride the better the experience. Earlier in the day is a much more relaxed and smother ride. By the end of the day it is a wild ride indeed.

    I also apologize for the shaky parts. I was excited to be there. New experience, new ride. We all do it. This is like you all seeing exactly what I saw for the first time. You can't get more authentic. Next time I'll take a week to edit instead of a day.

    I like that restraint system..I've heard it's accomodating for many sizes..looks real secure..my daughter and I hopefully going next weekend, if the bad weather clears..☔☔☔ Thanks for showing how the queue works.

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +2

      Yes it is a comfortable system that will accommodate large people with ease.

    • @justice7558
      @justice7558 6 лет назад

      It doesn’t accommodate tall people or people with large feet. I think RMC or management said if you have over a size 14 shoe it won’t fit on the floor board, and I guess a lot of coasters aren’t accommodating to tall people.

    • @annapayne23
      @annapayne23 6 лет назад

      Larry Douglas Sorry to hear this..That's a shame. My home park is SFOT..runaway mine train is still a fave..I wear a size 8 shoe, and the front seat of each car barely accommodates my feet..the middle and back seats are better for taller folks.

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +1

      I have a size 10 shoe and there is a little more than 3 inches left. However, if you move your feet at an angle, I'm sure that a size 15 will fit. Again though that person will most likely fit sue to their height not their shoe size.

      Thanks I was really curious about how they were going to do the loading of the trains for each row but one question I do have is was it awkward getting in and out of the trains because that hump in the middle looks like it would make it weird getting in and out?

    Trying to see if the moving station thing is really beneficial...only time will tell and will be interested to see how RailBlazer's traditional station approach compares to the moving station on GLC.

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +1

      It may be because only one person is boarded at a time and since the station is in motion, they can insure each person is secured and then move on to the next person. Only 8 people are boarded per train.

    • @matthewmyers8031
      @matthewmyers8031 6 лет назад +2

      I understand that Saturday evening the queue line filled up and they were able to work through it pretty quickly. I believe the moving station forces guests and operations to move more quickly therefore increasing capacity.

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +1

      Sunday was a breeze and I has no wait. It was awesome to just walk right through. They stationed a worker right before the stairs directing single riders to go to the single rider line versus the left side. You should have seen the peoples reactions. I wish I had my video camera on me. Just about all replied, the whole train is a single rider. lol

      Please define moving station

    • @AngryGumball
      @AngryGumball 6 лет назад +1

      Jesse's spinner reviews that's the term that's been thrown around regarding the continuously moving trains in the station. They don't park in place for load and unload, they slowly pass through while riders board (like Goofy's Sky School at DCA)

  • @StamfordBridge

    There’s a single rider line for a ride that’s single file?

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +2

      I am not sure but I believe that will be used for the flash pass users that will bypass the line .

    • @JGuy97
      @JGuy97 6 лет назад

      +StamfordBridge Even though it's single file, they'd still end up sending some trains out with an empty seat.

    • @triple7marc
      @triple7marc 6 лет назад

      Yes, because people will want to ride with their group. For example: if there’s a group of 3 placed in rows 1, 2, and 3, and a group of 4 placed in rows 4 through 7, a single rider can be placed in row 8 (the last row) because a group of 2 or more queues up next won’t want to split up their party among trains.

    I LOVE the moving station idea! Why didn’t railblazer do this?

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад

      Railblazer is in a Cedar Fair owned theme park. Six Flags has implemented several of these at their theme parks. Different companies. I'm sure one can be installed later on when they are ready to put it in place.

    • @zachstammen9337
      @zachstammen9337 6 лет назад

      It Cedar fair would do a moving station the might need to make the station longer to for that purpose.

    • @matthewmyers8031
      @matthewmyers8031 6 лет назад +2

      After hearing about it, CF did ask to copy the design and they will include it. Their engineers have been talking to RMC/SFFT engineers. They did not get the third train. That’s the fly in the ointment. Seeing all three trains constantly moving is beautiful.

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад

      I agree. Personally that 3rd train is needed to insure that they remain full and ready to roll. It was a good choice on Six Flags part to include it.

      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +2

      I have to tell you that it was an extremely fun ride. The first 4 in a row were the best. then my neck was hurt and I had to stop for a bit and grab a dole whip. I did manage a total of 9 rides that day. One of the last ones had the grease warmed up and it really flew cutting the ride time by at least 3 more seconds.

    • @StamfordBridge
      @StamfordBridge 6 лет назад +1

      Nick Dee3 Awesome. That’s the first reaction I’ve heard. Did you feel as if you were really low to the rail? Was the rail eerily smooth? Did it feel incredibly fast? (Those are all my questions, I promise.)

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +2

      At first, none of us knew what to expect. As the first train passed our group it had a worker testing and we heard nothing. SO we were thinking , like, oh ok, pretty cool, Right? Then the first group entered and as they passed by, we heard the screaming from a couple of them. Now the rest of us were getting excited. Then the next group passed by as we were boarding. I was ready as you can see. I had to experience the front row. Hands down, you need to ride in the front row first then the back row. After that anywhere is great. This ride will take you for a ride you have never experienced before. I'm glad I was able to talk with other riders and they all concur that this is a winner. Smooth and unique ride experience.

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +2

      I don't scream on any rides. My son however said he thought he was going to die. The cars rock a little and is normal. He thought when it shifted to a side abruptly that there was something wrong with the car and thought it was about to fall off. It is by design so you get that feeling of no control. another awesome feeling experience. I think this is one of my top 5 roller coasters. X2 is my absolute favorite that I have ever ridden. So I hope that helps.

    • @StamfordBridge
      @StamfordBridge 6 лет назад +1

      Nick Dee3 Thanks a lot for the answer. Very interesting! And it does help to know this is top five for someone whose number one is X2!
      I’m jealous because I visited the park for the first time at the end of March, two weeks after WW was first slated to open. >:-/

    • @nickd32006

      Zach Stammen yes it is an emergency stop button. They used it once while we were about to board.

    Do you think it’s possible that future designs can have a double loading station?

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад +1

      It could be possible that a design in the future could offer dual stations and tracks like a dueling coaster design where they intertwine. Sort of like the dueling dragons located at universal. The less stuff moving like transfer tracks, the less of a chance that something goes wrong. This design is exactly what the engineers wanted.

    • @visionist7
      @visionist7 6 лет назад

      This coaster type would suit dueling trains to a T

    have six flags ever heard of theming or are they allergic to it?

    • @nickd32006
      @nickd32006  6 лет назад

      At first we heard that there was going to be an airplane that was crashed in the water. It may still be that the ride was priority. I don't mind waiting to be honest. I know the old pylons from the old ride still needs to be hauled away. The queue still needs to be finished. A statue of WW with some fire effects is coming soon as well. I will be going through the queue with a high quality camera when it is all done to show the entire in a better light later in May.

    • @jjperceval
      @jjperceval 6 лет назад

      as nice as that would be, it still seems that the chain has a theming problem. so much so ive seen better themeing on australian rides. and thats a big call as is.

      ziffelboy we were able to ride the first day. Then on Saturday, after 4 PM the other memberships were able. However, with so many people complaining to the park, management got pretty smart real fast. They told everyone that if they purchased a wonde woman shirt and put it on, they were allowed to ride. So for $20 you could ride and have a shirt.
