I had to double check when I saw the ad for myself just to make sure. I was mad when I found out that the game pulled a fast one on the player

This feels sort of like a higher quality, somewhat less freaky version of that parody mobile ad with the horse dying from getting its hair brushed unnecessarily

Yeah, its bs. This could be used in a new portaboy game: portaboy progress.
If you want to win, you have to save her. However you can only win by NOT picking the one with the heart. You'll get the heart anyway if you pick the one without one, and vice versa.

Lol, the game just deleted the heart and replaced everything in the cups with a grenade. There are plenty of great mobile games out there made by genuine indie developers. But not that Chinese shit that you see a lot, and what you seem to think all the games are.

What I really loathed about those mobile game ads is when the player is too dumb enough to answer a SIMPLE puzzle game and fail to the point of letting the poor hero character suffer.
Lumpy Touch nailed this aspect on what's wrong with those mobile game ads.
That and “save the king!”

Also, even if the answers to global inequalities could be gotten from doing stupid match 3’s, people wouldn’t do them. Even if it was free easy and quick. Yes I’m too spicy to be online and here I am
Making the gameplay in the ad unsatisfiable to watch does NOT make me want to download your crappy goofy ahh game.
The point is to make the viewer think that they can do better and play out of spite

There are many AWFUL mobile game ads, most being disgusting, insulting, inappropriate and cringy.
There are awful ads where the person sounds more like a robot THAN a robot!

Imagine you could bootleg anything in the universe and you're the guy that chooses the Sonic Chronicles OST
Difference is that there’s no battle drone that heals 300 HP every time they die.
I mean a lot of SC's music is basically just bootleg versions of classic Sonic tracks anyway.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets a kind of hallowed yet creepy vibe to the original PlayStation logo sound.
I like how it goes to a colorful, average mobile game to a skeleton cat that tells you to die 💀

I'm a little worried the mummified cat angel might not be child friendly enough to get this add out there - but what do I know, somehow the US has way weirder ads than I've ever had in the EU
Yep, the cat mummy should be a-okay in USA. Around where I used to live, we had a building called a Children's museum (basically a place where children can do various activities, some of them educational in nature). Whenever they were constructing the building, they found an accidentally mummified cat. They decided to put the cat in the pretend doctor's office in the museum. Gave it its own display.
So compared to seeing a mummified cat in real life, this ad shouldn't be that bad for children.

I love this video too much. It's creepy but also cool. It feels so real. Whoever this animator is irl, I want to meet them to thank them for all the amazing animations. 10/10 video.
I wouldn't be suprised if mobile game bootleggers stole this video and ran it as an actual ad.

The ad is about taking care about a cartoonish horse, which showed that you needed to make it blink and then asked you to brush it, and after the horse didn’t get brushed, it literally turned into an hyperrealistic skeleton with the surrounding turning grayish and more dark. With the same ending of that of this video except that it’s an hyperrealistic horse skull with an angel ring looking at you.

Naaah this is way better than most mobile game ads. This one has had effort put into it, most of them don't have anything but asset flips, crude sex jokes and disgusting art.
