    As a waxer this is a perfect plan of action for beginners .. small strips with the natural hair growth. I’m impressed these usually make me cringe but this is perfect . When you get more comfortable you can make one big strip with the direction of the hair growth

    It’s not the safest thing to do. You’re body systemically absorbs lidocaine ( which can interfere with heart rhythm and certain heart medicines.) You need only a small amount , it’s not meant to be sprayed on like that. Plus it can be really irritating.

    Lidocaine or other numbing medicine can kill you. It's uncommon but it has happened. 2020 or dateline did a story where a young woman used it on her legs before a hair removal procedure. It caused her to go into cardiac arrest. It may have been a stronger dose over a larger area but why take a chance. It may be better to just deal with the pain.

    Darkness under armpit might be due based on the possible aluminum in your deodorant. Always get aluminum free. Great hack is mixing baking soda and fresh lemon juice until a paste and let it set on dark area for 5-10 min 2-3 times a week. In a month the darkness should be less pigmented or if not gone. Even tho I don’t like shaving my under arms because the hair grows back literally the next day I started using an IPL little machine to get permeant results and it seems to be working! I really hated waxing I used to wax very often because I was on my swim team and my under arm hair started to get thinner so I kept waxing but then I stopped when I left high school. Now I shave once a week and use the IPL after I shave (the hair still grows back quickly but it has been slowing in length so it is not as long and is softer) this much more doable for me! I would rather have permeant results it may take a year but I think it’s worth not hurting myself since shaving is not painful if u do it correctly. I have a routine and I don’t feel bad for having hair anymore if I have a stubble because I know my routine is worth it to get to my goal.
    I feel more confident knowing my hair won’t grow back if I keep up IPL. Hope this may help just incase you want permeant results and hate waxing! I know my mom is older and waxes and her hair her under arms is super thinned out but since I am younger my hair would grow back thick as it was. You should only use IPL if you are over 18 for best results. Or just don’t shave lol I wish we didn’t feel the pressure to!

      Quick tip as a beautian hot wax should be applied against hair growth and removed against hair growth
      Warm wax (strip wax ) should be applied in the same direction and removed against the direction on hair growth
      Pull the skin taught because it can bruise if not
      Hope this helps 🙏 ☺️

  • @trashcant69

    I once waxed my armpits. I knew it was a bad idea from the moment I put the wax on. But here's the problem: it was already on. And my mom didn't raise no quitter, so of course I'm not gonna try to carefully and slowly peel it off like an idiot.
    I cannot even describe the amount of cold sweat I was in leading up to the ripping. I pulled it off. Of course, the pain was much worse than I imagined, and I just crawled up into fetal position.
    Here is the hook: you have two armpits. I of course could do the smart thing and just accept the loss and move on. But once again, I ain't no quitter and my monkey brain is telling me that asymmetry bad. So I get ready for pain part two: electric boogaloo. I put on the second wax strip. The only feeling in that moment was regret. Why would I do such a stupid thing? It matters not. The wax must go. And so I ripped it off once again.
    Now see the funny part is, that I was still in pain from the other side, so I was just more sensitive for the second waxing. What I mean is that it actually hurt more on the second side.
    So with tears in my eyes I crawl back into fetal position until the pain subsides. But don't be fooled, my misadventures weren't over yet. For I had made the mistake of using some cheap ass cold wax strips from the supermarket. Meaning I still had a bunch of that sticky residue on my abused armpits. I should also mention that there was some very minor bleeding.
    Now how do you get this sticky residue off? That's right: baby oil. Let me tell you, that tiny wounds and oil are not pleasant together. On the contrary even, that shit burns. So I'm standing there, oil soaked cotton pads in hand, tears in my eyes, regretting every single life decision that led me up to that moment.
    And you know the best part about all this? It wasn't even a good waxing job. My goddamn skin wasn't even clean. I suffered through agony for something that wasn't even good.

    • @thegirlnobodyreallylikes4925
      @thegirlnobodyreallylikes4925 2 года назад

      This might sound disgusting: you should use cooking oil instead of baby oil because it has perfumes in it. And if you sweat a lot put a light layer of baby powder on your armpits.
