Great video but sadly I have forgotten the password so will keep looking for a way to reset with a password
O crap isn't there a reset button on the back of these? I will check tomorrow on that

I contacted the dealer and they said use SADPTools and press on forgot password and then extract a small XML file.
Then send it to them and they sent it to Hikvision and they in turn emailed back a return XML file to import back I to the device and then it lets you to add a new password and it worked 100%. Took all of under 1hr from start to finish. Hope this helps somebody else that forgets a password like me.

Use the pin hole to reset it
