My man much respect for keeping it real. Didn't clean everything up, and only show it All done after a fight with the seats and old console. That's how it is for me every time. Straight up real life sh.....it.
I just bought one today for my 2011 Silverado. My console is different though, there is no open space in the front like yours. The one you installed is for the Silverado with the air vents above the stereo. You’ve probably figured it out by now. Just took me quite some time to find the right console.
I'm looking to do this to my 2009 GMC Sierra WT 1500 Crew Cab. I loved how the camera was strapped to your head for good detailed footage. Well done! You made it look easy! Now I have to see where I can find a center console for my truck. I'm not completely positive, but I read somewhere that you need to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery before disconnecting any wires in the truck....I could be wrong though.
Great video my man. I want to do this to my 2011. Only thing id change about the video, id put the beat/ song a little lower, i couldnt hardly hear you talk in some of the spots because of it.
Just picked up one for my Tahoe. Looks way better than the jump seat. I noticed yours has a tray for the rear instead of the audio controls. I need the tray also but can’t find it anywhere
@@Aero_HER_Dynamic I was looking at the views for this video and I believe I got 1.8k. But, I only have 101 subs. 🤦🏽♂️I don’t know what that’s all about. I just I need to do more Silverado interior videos
Donavin Daniel bro I am trying. Catching hell with my Mustang. The volts drop to 10.2 when I go to start it. Right before it start the voltage drops. I believe I need a battery
Awesome vid , just picked up a center console too going to do soon and didn’t want to take the seat belts out either . You didn’t disconnect the batt no airbag lights after ? Also what did you do for that void
MrXcbravo thanks for watching and I hope you hit that subscribe button. I haven’t did anything with that opening because I was going to change out the dash to a 2014 dash that I bought. But, I can’t find anybody to program the 2014 cluster to my 2009 Silverado. So I probably going to find a 2018 center console with all the goodie’s in it and put that in
I didn't do anything yet. I need to swap the dash. i have a 2014 dash but i have located anyone who could program the dash cluster to work with my 2009 ecu.
My center console didn’t have any outlets. The new console I plan to get will. But, my first console had one and the plug is under the console. So it should be plug and play
@@bonezshakergarage I got mine out of GMC sierra and my plug for the outlets is different then it is in my truck I was trying to figure out the wiring on it
I just took my center console out to switch it for a box and 12"sub, when I removed the center seat I have some kind of unit where you had a bare metal square. Any idea what it is and what it controls?
@@chrisriddle5248 I think it’s something to do with your seatbelts or one of the sensors that you need. I have a 2009 and I didn’t have a box under my center console. If you unplug that box it my affect a few other things on your truck. Follow the wire back and move the box under one of the front seats

I try to show it all so people don’t think it was easy.

Yeah, my center console is not a Silverado console.

Always disconnect the negative to make sure you don’t hurt the ecu. Look on Facebook marketplace for a center console
@@bonezshakergarage I'm just not sure if a newer year console will mount to my truck
@@bishop-11 it will. You need the piece under the dash and the glove box and it will bolt up

Great install. Thank you for the step by step. My only suggestion is switch the beat up and not put on repeat. Just my opinion. Great video tho!!
I must of missed it. But you were able to re use both oem seats? Just removed the center seat
thanks man, helped me install mine
Glad my video could help bro. Subscribe and check out my your videos. Peace
It really looks better 👍
Thanks bro. Looking for a 2014 dash now

Damn I wanna do this but I got the 4x4 shift lever on that spot
If you have the floor shifter I don’t think you can put this console unless you make some modifications
I was stuck in the exact same situation but I ended up making a custom shifter for the manual 4x4
Does the charging port inside work when you install or no?
No the charging port is not connected
What did you do for the empty space between dash and console buddy?

Do you think a 07 Yukon center console will fit a 09 Silverado extended cab?
I thinks. Make sure you get all the pieces to the dash.
