- I ordered my MEUV( mini electric utility vehicle), from Shandong Aigle via Alibaba.com.
From payment to arrival it took most of 10 weeks. A good part of that was spent on ship and train.
The lithium battery I ordered at the same time still has not arrived and looks like it might be a couple more weeks!
I will be editing clips together for a more comprehensive video, I hope.
I had every intention of doing a detailed video from arrival to completion of assembly. But, things are not working out the way I’d like. My camera guy is too busy and so am I.
So now I will get clips of things that must be done and learn how to edit them together.

Just saw your comment. Thanks. I ordered the battery from the same company Shandong Aigle. By the time it gets here it will cost me close to if not more than $2000.00!
I gave grave doubts that it will actually be a 72v 100AH BATTERY! I intend to have it tested.

Heck I'd love to know how much you got into it because some guy is selling these for I think 15000 and I can't tell if it's a ripoff to buy that DOT approved version for the cash.
Before you buy, do the research on what is required for an imported vehicle to be allowed to get license and registration in the US.
Most of these truck manufacturers don’t provide a VIN, only a serial number. A VIN is required DOT for recall notification. Most of these truck will not pass crash tests, don’t have airbags, etc.
My intention is to get vehicles that can be used in Wisconsin on ATv/UTV trails and routes.
The State Department of Natural Resources( they issue atv/utv registration numbers) is at this time refusing to provide registration. I have some work to do to convince our state legislators to include these vehicles. Technically they should because they are designated as off road use from the manufacturers.
All in I’m just short of $10k. I’m considering it an investment in a demo vehicle for evaluating quality and reliability. Both of which are coming up short.
I have a similar Chang Li truck. Where did you order your lithium battery from?
I ordered it from the same company. But, it was made and shipped from a different city. Don’t know if it is a separate company.
Heard today 5/9/23 that the battery reached Long Beach CA onn5/5/23 and is still waiting to be off loaded.
What company did you get your from? I doubt I will be ordering more from this company.

It will be tough to get a range test. It is not street legal. Can’t get plates without a VIN.
I have been testing it at our mini warehouse business.
I can get it up to 30kph or 20mph.
Do not buy one from SHANDONG AIGLE company. It is poor quality. Many, many issues. Still trying to figure out problems.
I’ve only had to charge it overnight, 4 times since I got the Lithium battery.

Hey Patrick. I hope to soon have more videos of what I have had to repair on this NEW truck. This is not something I would recommend to just anybody.
You will need a lot of tools and a good workshop to not only finish putting it together but figuring out all the “issues “ with it. From loose hydraulic fluid hoses to roof rack mounting tabs welded in the wrong place That’s just got starters.
