- We're installing the GeraldJustProjects Flex Fuel Kit on the GR86 today so that I don't have to worry about finding gas stations with E85 everywhere I go! It's the easiest and most simplistic kit to install and works like a charm!

3 questions...
1. What advantage are there to the E85 tune?
2. How can I find someone to do that tuning?
3. How do you make all these installs look so easy on video?
E85 allows for more aggressive tuning due to the higher octane rating. You can find tuners across the country to tune the car with either a street tune, on the dyno or remotely. As for the installs, this really is an easy install haha

How did the flex tune work out? Havent seen any follow up and nobody is selling them yet. Makes me wonder if there are issues.

Do you know if there is any main difference/ pros and cons vs the Visconti Gen 2 on pre order currently?
So running an e85 tune, would you still want to flash say a 91 tune back to the car if you are on 91 for a while? Or do you just tune for the highest octane and are good to go
So the downside of running an E85 tune is you'll need to run straight E85. If you need to switch to 91, you'll need to get rid of the E85 in the tank and switch maps.
So it fine to wait until the fuel gauge is flashing low/empty and you know you got something like 5 miles left in the tank and then put some E85 in it? Or do you have to drain the tank to 100% empty before changing fuel types?

Need to mount that on the center hole on the flex fuel bracket. Sorry... It's just me. Glad things are working out with the channel!!!
The center hole is larger that the others so the nut wouldn't hold it very well haha

Just ask for a flex fuel tune. If they don't know what that is, find a new tuner haha
Silly question, so my area has both Premium 93 and Flex Fuel (didnt know that was referred to as E85 lol). With this installed, and the car tuned, I can opt for either or both?
Yes you could run either or mix them if needed.

I haven't done it myself but yes its just clipped in there.

You don't have to tune immediately :) you could wait.
Like they said, you can just leave it in there and the gas will just flow through like usual.
Does the vent gauge measure ethanol content after the flex fuel kit is installed?
I believe you can wire it up to show ethanol content.

Does the gauge display oil pressure?
No, you'd need to install a gauge with a pressure sensor as there isn't an OEM one.
@@KevinVo that's a shame, idk why every gauge like this shows boost and afr, ect. But does nothing for the MOST Important auxiliary guage in any vehicle. I understand why they didn't put one in from the factory, as it would probably startle those who are not familiar with the high oil psi in the boxer, but it's a necessity for sporty driving without worry.
I rather purchase an oil pressure gauge instead. But thank you!
