A good solution for the Submarine tilting backward is putting all the thrust in the front, when you propel something from the back, it may be more efficient but all the thrust is from the back, and nothing from the front, that means that the front wants to stay in place, and the back wants to move. So by putting all the main thrust in the front, it will drag the back along so it won't tilt when not intended.
Also, make sure the thrust is aligned By the X and Y axis from the center of mass, don't place the thrust lower, or the sub might tilt upwards and don't put it higher, or the sub will tilt downwards. The point is, make sure it is the center.

@@zhangzhuoran1838 I don't know, just hide it or bear with it, I have never made or designed a sub in plane crazy, but I am a really good guy at trying to fix problems with physics, not at design
i built a sub 3k blocks and moves pretty slow saying its moving in 20-30 though it feels like 2 any way to fix this

I made quite a few submarines, and I'm pretty good at it so I consider myself qualified enough to give you advice:
I have the same problem with a lot of my subs, my main method is putting a block of azimuth thrusters on the stern for thrust vectoring and to control pitch. Even when the sub is stationary, the water displacement generated by the movement of the thruster block is great enough to change the pitch. I personally use Q and E to control pitch, but I guess you could assign any keybinds you want.
My method isn't too different from the method shown in this video, it's completely up to the user to modify that. I hope this piece of advice helps.

I have over 460 hours in this game, and boats are my favourite to build, but yet i couldnt make a submarine. after watching your video this is as easy as building a regular vehicle
how does this not have at least a million subs like it literally teaches you how to make things yourself its like extracting the learning from carbon copy tutorials and compressing it into only 20 minutes

18:18 I think i have sollution. In this example I think its better to be stable while not moving, and pithing up while swimming forward. In this case we can add a proppeler or any other type of engine in front, thrust vector facing upward. Keybind this engine same as engine that is moving us forward. I know if maby one is too much, add stronger engine, or double it. We can resolve problem with planes, that are pitching up with simple solution. I hope, that I could help you guys.

So, I might be wrong, but the issue with the boat tilting up when at motion is due to the placement of the engines below the centre of gravity. This pushes the boat’s lower portion faster than the top, and results in the boat pitching up.
What I was thinking! That's why I prefer older sub rotors placement, there positioned lower to accompany the stabilisers..!
@@AirCraft-Weekly hopefully there will be 1x2 water propeller so that the propeller will be in the centre. Useful for mini subs like mine

Hey Fire, I really enjoy your vids and they've helped me learn to build properly in Plane Crazy. I like the builds and the editing, but I feel like the alt parts are a little unnecessary and lengthy. But then again, these aren't my videos and many of your viewers might like it. So thanks for creating some of the best Plane Crazy content!
Thanks. I will admit, the alt parts in this video was a bit lengthy, but I did it to help make the video more bearable to watch and not too boring. Ill try to tone it down a bit for future reference.

I think by putting some ballast block on the back, then when you start moving, and it starts to tilt up, just have a water propeller at the back to like balance it back, it is a little wierd to look at, but it works

If you making folding nuclear submarines then I recommend using rocket engine (super engine recommended) since it sink and float more efficiently however it way slower

I mightve just came up with an idea that can solve the pitching problem in a very simple and efficient way, making the sub perfectly balanced when stationary and having the main thruster angled so that it balances out the sub by itself

my submarine is not well stabilized, how do I move center of gravity in middle? i tridd with ballast block but it doesnt work well

Making a Uboat and my problem is if i want to submerge. My stern tilts up. Idk what is my solution because if i'm at the surface the weight of my stern is Heavy now. Anyone who's good at submarines do you have any solutions to that?

To be honest, water propeller should work in the air, just not as efficent
You do realize water propellers aren’t designed for the air cuz of their very short blades unlike conventional propellers which have large blades yo pull through the air so even in real life they won’t work nor would they work in plane crazy

Does the size of the ship matter when adding ballast to the bottom of the ship to stabilize it? My ship is 1400 blocks, it always capsizes to the right.. It also has 1 fold.
It can, generally the larger it is (or heavier it is), the greater the ballast weight needed to balance it

Thats called lag, and the only way to truly fix it is to lower your blockcount. Getting a better pc could improve it, but not guaranteed to.

In planes I've used helicopter blades with motorlock to stop pitching while moving.

What I do to keep my ships (and subs) stable is by replacing blocks with helium at the top.
