    I feel like I would be worried about the tub getting scratched, would have to vac up all that dust.

    Just pay a service plumber to repair this without destroying the tile. And consider laying something over the tub to avoid scratching it 😅

      Back side is covered by kitchen cabinets not accessible. Thanks for watching

      The trim kit will cover the whole.. it’s standard practice to use the trim kit and seal around that

      ​@jamescooper4108 that hole is bigger than any trim kit I have used. Would be interested in seeing what you mean. Could be a big help.

    You using shark bite fittings and you have a $2200.00 plus progress sitting right there in front of you very strange. 🤔
