i think Howard knows when he's got someone who's not that interesting or articulate and needs to fill in more himself. This the first time I've seen Adam interviewed, so I don't really know him but here he seems pretty dull, and I've seen Howard let more articulate and animated guest talk away with minimal interruption

I think it's incorrect to call these interviews: I call them conversations. Not to put them down or anything, that's what they truly are
Great actor and very humble
Every time I see his face all I see is the man that murdered one of my childhood heroes and took everything I ever loved about Star Wars.
I'm genuinely interested what leads you to say "great" actor? What criteria are you using. I'm not saying he's bad or anything, but great seems way too strong for this guy's very limited work, in my opinion

I was in the same situation. Young, going nowhere, joined the Marines, ready to go to war, injured in training, sent home three months before desert shield, my unit went over but I was medically discharged

The main purpose of a watch is to tell time, that Timex watch tells time just as nice as any $10K Rolex. The Rolexs are basically just fancy jewelry for men.
Timex sucks. Once I went Casio I never went back to Timex, now I don't even wear a watch.
@@joemckim1183 Not really. I'm a watchmaker, yes you can get a fancy yellow gold Rolex but the engineering or a Rolex is amazing.The basic Rolex keeps time just as good a decent priced digital. Which is insane, since its mechanical. Same as an Omega, which why NASA astronauts wore them to the Moon.

Interesting and humble person. Love to see him in more things other than Star Wars. I think he's short changed with Disney's version of the not so great franchise.

A vacuum salesman came to my house when I was a kid and did the whole dirt on the floor routine, and when it was over and my parents didn't buy it he got really mad and started crying

I have a very similar story. I joined the army, chose the infantry, and was a mortar Gunner. I got hurt 6 months before my unit deployed to Iraq. I watched my unit leave. It was the worst feeling I've ever had. It took me years to get over it. Hooah adam

I was in a movie with Adam! Yup.
I was an extra - and I got to wear a long green velvet gown. He and Andrew Garfield walked in front of me! I found myself staring at Adam Driver on the set for hours (he was unknown then). There was something intriguing about him. I asked my daughter if she knew who he was and she was like, “oh yeah- he’s in the HBO series, Girls.
I watched it that night, and have been in love ever since!
I’m really glad that I didn’t know who he was when we were on the set! I know I would’ve embarrassed myself!
He was really intense, and extremely pale! He starved himself for the movie (Silence). Both he and Garfield starved, actually. Poor guys- the food in Taiwan is SO good!
I am a huge Adam Driver fan girl (at 57!). He’s very cool- and a fantastic actor.

Despite the bullshit with new Star Wars, I still love Adam Driver’s acting. His movie about the father who’s trying to save his infant son from the psychotic and deluded mother was a really great independent movie. Really underrated. I mean the guy was a charismatic force on a series like Girls- which contained the most self-serving and repugnant characters imaginable
Adam Driver is a great actor, Hollywood should be given him big action blockbuster movies, he at least is the real deal a former Marine; unlike a bunch of other actors that played ex-marines of ex-navy seals, who have never even stepped in a military installation, such actors like Charlie Sheen and Ben Affleck . Old school actors like Gene Hackman and Robert Duvall were the real deal too both served in the military.
I think being in Black Klansman and the Star Wars series counts as being part of blockbuster movies, no?

Honestly, this feels like a fluke. I was searching for early day Howard Stern videos cause I wanted to learn more about him. I watch this video after a couple old ones and Adam Driver talks about his difficulty finding work and joining the marines... interestingly enough I am also struggling to find work after university and have applied to the Navy.... I’m going tomorrow to meet my recruiter. Not gonna lie this video made me respect Adam and his work in Star Wars
