They are coming out with a TimeCutter Max Havoc edition that has the MyRide. It's all black and chrome with better tires and a few addons like high intensity LED lights. Otherwise no.

I stoped down to the local toro dealer late summer for a new self propelled mower.. personal pace ya da yada.. rear wheel drive.. turned it over to look under it.. and a good part of the cutting deck was plastic!! totally disappointed I then flipped her over and looked at the sales guy, thanked him for the time and walked out.
If you want your lawn to resemble a Pro League baseball field and insist on having the straightest stripes in you lawn the Stripe is for you. It does not have the Personal Pace. The standard Recycler will do more including side-discharge, bag and mulch.
The new self propelled version has worse specs than the existing e21. 1000 lbs / minute versus 1500 lbs / minute. So the older one has 50% more volume capability and a longer throw distance too. I like what they've done but not if it performs worse than the older e21 PowerClear! Paul, will you be getting one soon to compare the two versions? What are your thoughts?
Given current market pressures I suspect many consumers, myself included, will not be able to afford this upgraded equipment. I understand the Timemaster is going for $1600. Just ridiculous. Paul, we can always count on you to give the straight scoop.
Have you bought eggs lately? The mowers prices are a steal compared to food, restaurant, rent. I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee 14 months ago and the the dealers are now asking twice as much for the same car today. It is crazy.
I am excited to hear more about how the Toro robot mower works. I have a few rental properties and have a dream of buying one robot mower and moving it around from house to house and let it do it's thing. Do you know how the 'no wire boundary' works yet? Can it learn multiple lawns?
The engineer talks about it starting about 10:00 in the video. It's a vision based system and doesn't use GPS or boundary wire so it can work on complicated lawns, fully shaded lawns, and in between tall buildings. It can store multiple lawns. The engineer didn't know how many exactly but it's well over 10.
Good video Paul. I like what Toro's done with their 60v snowblower. A traditional metal frame is far more durable than the EGO,/Ryobi,, etc., plastic bodies. But... the Toro batteries are just too small for a typical driveway/sidewalk...I'd love to see these units come with the 10 Amp hour battery and/or a 3rd battery since it can reside on board. The charge rates are also incredibly slow. But in your video the commercial setup claimed 15 minite recharging. Will those chargers work with existing batteries? ... or are those new 10 Amp hour batteries somehow different? Many thanks!
The new batteries are different but I didn't get a chance to ask what has changed. I know the residential battery's cells are not designed for rapid charge and you will fry them if you charge them too fast. That said, I have your question into Toro for an answer.
I don't see the 10ah batteries for sale yet, but I would guess they are going to cost nearly $500 each. It's good to have choices but batteries still aren't very practical for high power and long runtime applications.
I always said, "If it takes more than an hour to mow your lawn - it's time for a bigger mower." The new 30 inch TimeMaster will run 3 hours plus on three 10AH batteries :)

Depends on the mower. Toro's recycler series has poly front ends. The Stripe series is all poly. The Super Recycler is all metal.
Just spent the $$$ on the 824 OE can’t wait to crank it up!

Very interested in the 60V PowerClear self-propelled. Debating that vs the Ariens Pro 21"
If you have a typical 2 car 100 foot driveway I'll bet you'll like the PowerClear a lot.
