- Allison Polidor, who was holding a small sign protesting a GOP plan for school vouchers, refused to leave when House Speaker Cameron Sexton ordered troopers to clear the chamber's west gallery.
a violent oppressive move directly against her constitutional 1st amendment rights
Smh ‼️ while the REAL criminals run free. Justice system/NOT ⚖️
Ignoramus.
OH
HELL
NO!!!
Phil Williams, why did you not address Jones’ claim of being threatened with assault while in the house? I would like to know if that claim is true or not. As for what happened to this woman, that’s nothing short of wrong. And she should file a lawsuit.
This is the same Jones that flatly denied having asked someone for a fee to take a picture with him, then another democrat confirmed that the request for money to pose for a picture was actually stated.
@@paulstevens7528More maga lies!
So childish! Fighting around, and name calling, like a bunch of kids! No wonder everything is so messed up! God help us all!
It's not unusual for them to recruit high school students to make their group look larger. There have been teachers at Hume-Fogg high school, a few blocks from the capitol building, who were known for giving students excused absences to go to the capitol building when leftist groups were protesting.
This is why those legislators shouldn't have been let back in the house. Name-calling and causing scenes. No good can come from that. How can they do their jobs if they are allowed to yell at each other and folks in the balcony are allowed to be distractions too? Shameful behavior all the way around. If you don't like something, you send them a letter. Acting out doesn't help your cause.
Well at least the trooper were nice and gentle with her, imagine if she was a black person.
@@1964ser1Get out of here !
It's the party of "our arguments are all based on feelings, so you shouldn't be surprised when we get emotional if people disagree with us".
@@1964ser1 When Speaker Naifeh ordered not only the gallery cleared of tax protestors, but also that the entire building be cleared of tax protestors, Nashville reporters got pictures/video of a black state trooper dragging a white man in a three piece suit out of the building by his ankles.
There is no justice supposed to be freedom of speech.
1:10,I’d like to call Rep. Jones to ORDER! He’s a violator of decorum!
Not getting the guns.
Sorry..
Where are the rights of citizens who aren't causing any harm
They did not respect the rules everyone is asked to respect the rules or you have consequences.
@@jeanne5044 Because the 1st Amendment of the constitution gives us the right to peacful protest. She was using her 1st Amendment rights!
Telling the truth?!?!? Wait a second, whats happening???
The order to clear was given. The problem is the people who think they are above the ruels and act like it is all personal but it is not. Everyone is asked to follow the rules.
Maga Republicans don't set the rules. The first amendment of the constitution does. It states we have a right to peacful protest.
People are crazy !
Well at least the trooper were nice and gentle with her, imagine if she was a black person.
Illegally detained and arrested and then released at another office was "nice?"
Always the race card

Yep, Nashville's government keeps moving farther and farther away from "the will of the people". I guess it shouldn't be all that surprising, when it was discovered over a decade ago that one of the council members wasn't even a resident of the state.
