Thank you so much, this video helped alot, I just ordered the Rsc2 and this grip, after doing 2 weddings last weekend with the old heavy Ronin S my arms were very sore after those 10 hour days. Watching this video gave me some great ideas to try out so I can save my arms lol.
Thanks dude, I saw this video the other day, I saw your set up with the smallrig handle in front of the gimbal handle, genius! I bought the handle and tried it, love it! Cheers 👍😀
That’s awesome! I’m so happy to hear that you like the front handle setup! That’s basically how I setup the gimbal every time now. Thank you so much for your kind words and support on the video!
That’s awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Thank you so much for supporting the video as well! We are going to review another type of handle for the RS2 soon, stay tuned!
I am a new owner of the DJI RSC2 and I am trying to learn how much I can by watching these kind of videos. All of this because I have also a RUclips channel and I want to make it better! And your video has been really interesting 🙏 For this reason I have subscribed 🙏 You deserve a lot of success 🙏
Have you tried attaching both the small rig as well as the inbox handle extension on the other side, which will be heavy set up though, but like it will be easier to switch between briefcase and that action grip.
@@henrymediagroup hello Henry I have the RSC2 it's compatible? Or do I need to buy another handle? I didn't understand that part of your video, thank you in advance for your time.
That’s a great question! We do not have the DJI RSC2, but according to SmallRig’s descriptions, this handle is compatible with the DJI RSC2 as well. Hope it helps!
That's what I was thinking of when using monitor on the top of the handle. Its too close to eyes but at The same time its the only setup where monitor is exactly at same ditrction as your Lens. Seems like there is always some drawback. No matter what you do.
Thanks for this video. i was curious about mounting that cage on the RS2. How does it feel? how does the motors handle it? and Did you just mount the RS2 quick release plate to the bottom of the cage? thanks
Do you know if the stabilization provided by the Sony A&sii including the IBIS and Active Stabilization is additive to the stabilization provided by gimbals like the DJI RSC2 or RS2 ? Thank you.
Good Afternoon. I´m frome Spain, great video. I have a RSC2. There is one think that I don´t understand. " RSC does not come with an extension arm". can't this accessory be put on it?. Best regards.
That’s a great question! According to SmallRig’s website, this handle works with both the RS2 and the RSC2. One way to confirm is to check and see if your RSC2 has a nato rail on the side where you can mount the handle. Hope it helps! Thank you so much for your kind words and support on the video!
I didnt get teh info what the problem is with RSC2? except that rsc2 doesnt come with an extension arm... and that locking system seems to be pretty flimsy
In Australia it seems like they only sell the handgrip on its own and not the smallrig briefcase arm. Do you know if the dji briefcase arm works the same way in terms of adjusting the angle of the grip easily and quickly? Or is it really important to have the rosette that the smallrig arm has?
Update, great video man. I was maybe wondering if you own a dji phone holder? I am using my phone with raveneye and i was wondering if the viewing angle of the phone on top of the grip works out :)
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! I'm glad that you like the video! Yeah, it is definitely a great accessory for the RS2! Unfortunately I don't have the phone holder but definitely keep us updated when you try it out!
@@henrymediagroup no problem dude! This gave me the extra security to not cancel the order or regret it. Really looking forward to it!! Honestly i hate one handed gimbals so this was kinda a must for me :))
My only concern is the risk of the handle detaching while carrying in slung mode. Seems very sketchy if connected on right side without that safety pin.
Does anybody have problems triggering their Sony Cameras with the record button on the RSC2? I just tried with the latest firmware on my RSC2 and FX3 and it triggers the cameras record but it get's stuck, tally lights are red but the camera does not record and does not stop even from the camera. I have to turn the power off and force reboot the camera.... Any suggestions? The aperture works fine with the wheel. Connecting via USBc - USBc C remote activated...
This was super helpful. Thanks Henry.

Less headroom for a rigged bmpcc 6k pro
Can you use a Sony a7s iii camera cage withe RS2?
