Wow! Thank you! Really appreciate the amount of time that was spent making this mammoth video! (Loved the “some a-hole will want something on top!” bit! Which is ALWAYS the case! 👍🏽
Thank you so much, this video i was looking for. Other videos on youtube that talking about layout just explain what it is and give some example from other people works but not practical in real project like this 👍
I really appreciate the work you put into this Tirso. It is inspiring! There are times when I strictly follow grids and what happens is I feel frustrated and the layout feels stiff. This method you shared, including the examples opened my eyes to many possibilities. Thanks so much!
I'm so glad to hear! A blank page helps clear the mind of what you've previously designed, which allows you to not predetermine what the final design should be. My only goal for the video was to open up people's thought in what those possibilities are. ❤️
Hi Mario, welcome to the channel! Yes, two reasons… I find it hard to control the shapes of text blocks when using text wraps, so I don’t typically use them if I don’t have to. When you’re using a text wrap, you’re closing in and filling the space, but more often than not, you should be looking to create white space to allow your elements to breathe.
What obstacles do you have when laying out a page?

Of course. Yes, be careful of those a-holes!
(Haha. There's always 'some a-hole' lurking.) Thanks for the iterations. Nicely done.
This video was fun to work on, glad you enjoyed!
This video is just WOW. Thank you so much for your efforts in making this for us.
Of course! I thought I got a little carried away on this one, but the work seems to have been worth it. Thanks for watching ❤️
Great video....more like this please!
Noted, I'm working on it!
Yep, life would be easier without clients. Great work Tirso.
haha thank you! This RUclips channel and the newsletter are my only design projects without a client. To you're point, it's much much easier!

So glad I found your channel Tirso. Just an observation I did not see any text that wrap around the graphics, any particular reason?
