Bakugan: Battle Planet is a remake and retold story of the original series, Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Alright bakufans that's it for the first game of the tournament and boy was it a classic, dontchya think?
Who doesn't love a good comback from out of the blue? Hopefully, you're excited for the next games of the bakugan tournament of power. We are sure there will be plenty of surprises in store for us during the upcoming games.

this fight is a great example of how the game is still balanced even with a bit of powercreep.
He used his own medicine against him, If he would have never brought the card, he wouldn’t been able to steal it

Rewatching the tournament after seeing that the new game isn't very good. :P
Doesn't matter, the game isn't dead, it's just that we're not getting any more Bakugan or cards for it. It's a sort of similar situation to Goat Format (Yu-Gi-Oh). I'm sure the community will keep this game alive and keep innovating with the now complete card pool. :)
Youngest player has priority in the Toy Battle/Gate Cards Games. In the Pro TCG, the person who chooses priority should be randomly decided.

@@NightcoreBrawler Yeah, there's nothing official going on so we don't know what would and wouldn't be officially banned or not. Afaik the only things banned back then were the Limited Editions.

Did Dawson really complain about power creep turn 1? Aurelus Hydranoid Ultra is from BAKUGAN RESURGENCE and he only took 5 damage. He's lucky it wasn't double that, not to mention he isn't even using a +650B Magic Shield. He was only down 250B and 600B respectively the first two turns. Sync should be able to close that, yet he didn't play anything and rolled over without a fight.
On turn 4, he complained he was down 900B vs 550B because his Bakugan wasn't new, but that's BS. He should have landed on the Magic Shield his Ventus Webam Ultra brings and (if he had the proper core) would be at 1050B, 150B ahead of Haru! (Ofc, if Haru didn't miss then Webam would've had its core removed at which point maybe Dawson could've cried power creep, but he never even experienced that). "What a flex from Haru" for him having a huge hand.. it's because Dawson put up so little of a fight that Haru literally only played a single card the entire first four turns. Duh! Ofc he has a huge hand. They both should all things considered.
Anyways, there are much better equivalent Bakugan to Aquos Centipod now. Just sticking to the exact same core lineup you've got Aquos Platinum Sharktar and Aquos Platinum Pegatrix, not to mention double Magic Shields like Aquos Platinum Nillious... Or look at his Darkus. Double Fist? Skorporos Ultra is disgustingly overshadowed by Evolutions Nillious Core, something widely available in stores right now for $7. It's like zero thought went into his setup prior to this, which is strange considering he has SV cards like Swampugan and FF rares like Tidal Cannon in his deck, so why can't he just pick up a few new Bakugan and stfu? No wonder he had a rough time most of the match.
WHY DID DAWSON AQUOFREEZE BEAM/HOWLING SHELL BOMB TURN 5?!? Haru MISSED without a reroll. Dawson could've done the DFD damage regardless. What a waste! Braindead play after actually doing something decent with Bakuspy into DFD, especially considering Haru could have had (mad probably should have had) something like Darkusfire Dodge in his deck.
P.S. WTF. Wynton Styles is an American. If you want to respectfully describe him, African-American, black American, or hell even "little black kid" are much more appropriate. "Small African child" is so demeaning and stereotypical to someone just as rightful to be in the US (and considering the history of slavery even more rightful than most white people) as anyone else. It's dehumanizing and makes it seem like, despite his family likely living in America for untold generations, that he somehow doesn't belong and should "go back" to Africa. Screw this Dawson guy. He needs to learn to hold his tongue and stop spouting idiotic nonsense both related to the game and otherwise. (No hate to you Haru, I noticed your displeased grunt in response to his unsightly commentary).
I think Dawson's entire team gimmick is Bakugan that are bugs. There is nothing wrong with having a theme for his lineup people can run whatever Bakugan they like whether they have good meta game or they look appealing.
I think Dawson did the AquosFreeze beam and howling shell bomb even though Haru can't fight back as a weird flex. I found that funny.
Also that African comment is just a joke dude. I'm part black and I found it funny. You're kind of reaching.
@@fangkitten9622 There's nothing necessarily wrong with a gimmick deck, but the problem was his butt hurt complaining about being at a disadvantage when he did it to himself.
