    I’m middle eastern & grew up eating falafel & hummus! This is a Great, easy to follow & beautifully presented recipe!!! I Actually Just made both hummus & falafel! The only thing missing in your hummus is tahini!!

    thanks for this hummus recipe. it tastes amazing. i made for the first time following this recipe and its the only one i've seen using sesame seeds instead of tahini.😋

      I was just going to ask when I saw this reply. I have made lots of hummus where I have used tahini. He has simply used unfrosted normal sesame seeds which we call white til seeds in India. Is there a difference if we don't use tahini ?

    Beautiful choice of background music here! :) ... The original is a very old greek song called Φραγκοσυριανη from Markos Vamvakaris for those interested. Thanks for the recipe. I would definitely do both hummus and falafel.

      Sodium bicarbonate and baking soda are two different things

      @@lubnaarshi4511 you might want to check your statement out: Sodium bicarbonate and bicarbonate of soda are one and the same -- you may know it better as baking soda. This chemical compound has uses that go beyond acting as a leavening agent in your baked goods.

    Instead of using the sesame seeds use the store bought sesame paste(tahini). It's much better and gives and also gives the hummus a better taste
