I am a Jordanian and I love Falafel. I could take it any time, morning or night. You had a great recipe for Falafel. Your Falafel came so well. The only thing that is different is the sauce, we use tahini sauce instead of mayonnaise. Thank you for the great details on your video....you killed me with that bite of the crispy Falafel...aaaaaah, now I am so hungry...Thanks, Dear
This is a really good recipe Dimitria, efharisto poli! I'm half Lebanese and half Greek so it's so nice for me to see you make this falafel. In Lebanon we serve it with delicious toumya or tahini sauce called taratur. I highly recommend you try your yummy looking falafel with them for an authentic taste. As we say in Lebanon, it's so good you'll eat your fingers. 😊💞
I'm plant based and I'm loving this recipe for this dish..loved you used alot of fresh ingredients..keep these vegan dishes coming. I'm sharing with my non plant based families..💐💐💐💐🌱🌱😘😘
This IS the best falafel recipe. I made these for dinner tonight and its just like my favourite takeout place, if not better. Thank you for your wonderful recipes.
I am Lebanese and our falafel recipe is somewhat different than this recipe. Also- falafel is made to eat with tahini sauce. This is the true ethnic way. My husband is Greek and I love watching your channel to learn new Greek recipes! ❤️
This is a great video, Dimitri, almost like a tutorial on how to make Falafel. I am gonna try this over the weekend. I love falafel but never made them myself. Thanks so much for this
I like you have this time the falafel recipe... watching as we speak... hihi... but my wife’s falafel is gonna be hard to beat! She make it really good! As a real Jewish mom :o) But we’re both watching right now :o) We have made so many of the dishes you make... they are all soooo good! And (as I may have mentioned once before) my daughter like to bake, the phyllo dough pie with apples the orange and cinnamon is a favorite! We have pictures of it! Blessings!!!!
Im from Brazil, my parents and granfather and Grandmother are from Lebanon I grew up eating arabic food...i like to eat it You are a Great chef..thanks
Thank you for the great recipe I always make falafel at home it’s a tradition to eat falafel in my country Jordan , you find falafel shops in every corner , serving hot ,fresh and delicious falafel, and there is falafel with sesame and some falafel are stuffed with onion and some are spicy. Thank you for your good , easy simple recipe .
A tip for slicing cherry tomatoes: put them on a plate, and put an upside down plate on top (the plates have to be just deep enough so that the tomatoes don't get squashed. Bowls would be way too deep). Then get a sharp knife and slice through the line where the two plates meet, and you'll have sliced all you tomatoes in one go.
I admire your dedication to always putting forth excellent work. I believe your work will bring joy to many people in the future. May your creativity shine bright in the days to come. It's still lovely to watch to a person with a new and different perspective. quality work and effort.
This recipe turned out so good! I did ful (beans) and falafel sandwiches on pita pockets with tatziki and used your recipes! They're so good. You could give Akis Petretzikis a run for his money.
Bravo .well done. I would like to add that usually we crush the falafel by just pressing it in the sandwich to infuse the taste and to mix the added sauce hot pepper ....etc with the inside of the falafel as well. Also the sauce is tahini yogurt lemon which is a beef shawarma sauce. Mayo garlic .... Is a chicken shawarma sauce.
Wait Wha? Falafel? No way! I first learned of and fell in love with it when I spent part of 2 summers in Israel many years ago. Ok Dimitra, lets see what you got. Bring it.
Thank you for this recipe. I love falafels and I’ve even gotten my friends to like them. They are served at a local restaurant in our small town in Montana. Now I can make my own with all the trimmings 😻
