I’m laughing at myself… watching you mix the olives and ingredients I found myself anxiously wanting you to hurry up… I wanted a taste😊 Then I sat back in my chair and started laughing. I’m watching a video for heaven’s sake!!! 😂😂😂😂 You sure have a way of making everything look so delicious!!
Thank you so much, being an olive lover, I'll try that amazing recipe as soon as possible. A non English idiom from Turkey: "I wish health for your hands". Love from Istanbul..
Just made this bread. Still too hot to taste. I added black olives, halloumi cheese, sautéed onion, dried mint and fresh parsley. Can’t wait to taste it! Thanking you for this and other recipes.
Made this. In the oven now! Didn’t have sesame seeds, so used “everything but the bagel” shaker seasoning. Oh my! In the oven only 5 mins and the aroma is absolutely intoxicating.
Made this today and it's lovely! Great soft bread, beautiful filling. Watching from Australia and I've been following your recipes Dimitra for the last month or two. They all look delicious so now I've had such success with this Greek Olive Bread, I am looking forward to trying more of your recipes. Thank you for showing us how to make such great Greek food!
Das 3 in a row to have it as sidedish. Never ever thought my family is this much into it. Today it will be spinach-feta filling. I love it just plain with sesameseeds or Dome boukovo, too.
Just made it! And I can’t thank enough! Your calm and relax attitude made me brave enough to try it! You are a Greek goddess! ❤ delicious dinner for me with a glass of wine!
As an Italian, I can sit and eat olives and good ital bread or baguette and make a meal of it. This recipe would be right up my alley. I already know it won't sit around and last very long. Thank you much!!
You are a wonderful teacher. It is great that you give alternatives too because I am dairy restricted, have nut allergies and cannot have tomatoes either. Also love that you don't have any gimmicks like "jokes". You just do and teach.
🤣🤣🤣 Perfect timing ... I made your Tiropsomo today for my family down under in Australia and they LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT ! Thank you soooo much for all the wonderful recipes you share with us 🙋🏼♀️💙🙏🏼
The ingredients of this filling reminds me of a style of stuffing that my mom (who is from Guam) made for Thanksgiving every year. My guess it was a recipe that my great grandmother from Spain had brought to the island. It has black olives, pimentos, diced dill pickles, and diced fried potatoes. I may modify this recipe to include those ingredients. I bet my family would love this. Thank you!
OMG...my husband and I just finished almost 1/2 of it... DELISH! I added feta and ham (only because it was in the frig). I was worried I would not have enough dough to close it, but there was plenty... next time I will leave the bottom (which becomes top) thicker. Mine was not round OR a rectangle...let's just say "one of a kind". ❤️
You are such a patient baker and cook. Makes me miss the annual Greek Food Festival in my town since covid cause it to be cancelled. One of my favorite dishes is a green bean with potatoes and carrots. Sounds simple the flavors are so good.
I'm So glad I found your channel. Im so excited to try your recipes my kind of food. Looking For new flavors and dishes and I think I found it. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
looks delicious. I would add dill, fried mushrooms, garlic, feta cheese, lemon. with a pinch of salt and pepper . I avoid white flour, sugar. so I wold bake it in a tortilla . and turn it into a tortilla pizza
Wow! This bread looks tasty , I love olives , so a mix of black and green olives with your ingredients plus feta cheese would definitely be my choice of ingredients. But with sunflower seeds instead of sesame seeds due to a medical condition I cannot use sesame seeds. So yes this bread would definitely be a favorite bread to bake for me and my family. Thank you for sharing. Your a good instructor. Your extra tips also helpful. Use of olive oil for non stick and for use of other ingredients options and not much kneading needed so Simple I like simple 😁🙏 God bless you and your classes. GREAT job!
You make this look so easy ! Wow I am SO making this with added cheese as you suggested..I usually make olive French bread but this has my attention thank you !
Dear Dmitra, are there a lot of vegetarian and vegan Greek dishes ? I am basically a vegetarian, lately avoiding much dairy. I don’t consume meat, fish or eggs at all. Use plant based milk for coffee. Some yogurt and butter for cooking.
Oooh. I've been messing around with sour dough recently, just making it into whatever, bagels, pretzels, cinnamon buns, flat bread, pizza, calzones, ect. I'm always interested in new options, I hadn't even thought of putting a bunch of roasted veggies and olives inside, it looks so good. Will have to try soon.
That looks so delicious! I would like to use a mix of the kalamata and the little black wrinkly dried olives my mom would bring my grandpa each year. Really like the idea of adding dried cured tomatoes and feta... weekend. Life will be delish. Thank you!
The very first thing I thought of when I saw this were the incredible muffulettas I had in New Orleans! I could eat one every day! There are strong similarities between the two.
Oh fili mou, a slice of pita for me parakalo. This recipe reminds me my home Country, all most same ingridients but a little bit more local herbs and hot ,spicy pepper too. Efkaristo poli for sharing.
When I was younger there was this bakery of a subway station on my way to work that had an oregano and olive medley focaccia. I still dream of that focaccia. Yours looks amazing! I know this will be a very addictive recipe. I'm going to try it on the weekend. Thanks Dimitria.
This was beautiful thank you ❤. It will be used plenty in the future. I just added tomatoes and caramelised onion as that was all I had, really delicious but I can't wait to test so many new fillings!
Thank you Dimitra for your beautiful vegan dishes, I am a huge fan of Greek culinary and just love your vegan dishes! Can you please, show us typical dishes of the Longevity Island Ikaria (which are mostly plant-based, from what I undrstood)? Blessings! Yamas! 🙏🌞🙌
This looks so good but I'm going to fill it with your spanakopita filling. But I'll also make it another time with the olives and roasted red peppers (though I'll likely also add feta cheese). Thank you for the recipe.
Wow, it looks great. I never made a stuffing bread, but this one looks delicious to me. I will try to make my first stuffing bread (Greek Olive Bread) soon. Does the dough has to be that soft? Thank you so much for all the tips...I really appreciate that you are going through the details in your recipes. You are the best.
wow I’m going to make this today, I was just thinking what can I do with all these scallions in the fridge. I have roasted red peppers in the pantry (a tip I got from you) and will add sundried tomatoes.
@@DimitrasDishes update: I made it! It was sooo good. I added a bit of blanched spinach and some sundried tomatoes. Served with lentil soup, it was a huge hit!

I made it very good recipe
Io l'ho fatto... ottima ricetta
Loved the feta bread, made it 3 times in two weeks! Will try this one as well. Maybe using a salad spinner for scallions? Thanks for the video!
A salad spinner would definitely get the extra moisture off the scallions quickly :) Enjoy!

TY sweet Dimitroula mou! I'm gonna make this with sundried tomatoes. Can I used pesto sauce if that's ok? Stay safe!
Yes, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes would be delicious! Add some mozzarella too!! Like a pizza pocket :) xx

Hi Dimitra...try adding 2 or 3 heaping spoonfuls of semolina to your flour...this results in a crispier dough....

This version also deserves to be given a try. The sooner the better.
wow I’m going to make this today, I was just thinking what can I do with all these scallions in the fridge. I have roasted red peppers in the pantry (a tip I got from you) and will add sundried tomatoes.
yay! Roasted red peppers are such a great pantry staple! Enjoy :)

Meu Deus , que delícia!!! Vou fazer! Além de gostoso , simples de se fazer! Grata
Thank you. I love this recipe, as it’s very simple 🥰
This looks so good! Is there any chance for you developing a gluten free bread? Thank you for all you do - especially the vegetarian dishes! 💜💜💜
Looks great! Thanks for sharing! Keep it up:)
Can we use whole wheat flour instead of white flour.
Thank you .
Delicious 🤤
What do you think about adding some cottage cheese to this? I have some in the fridge that’s about to go bad 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Shaking the flour jar first helps "declog" the flour. And sieving the flour puts air into the flour for a lighter bake.
I’m going to try this. My kids love tomatoes can you just use tomatoes or would that make the dough soggy???
