I'm back! I ended up taking an unintentional YT break due to illness, but I'm slowly on the mend and hope to be back to regular uploads. How was the start of your year? I missed you!!
Please stop stressing yourself out because things are running behind, or planner projects aren't coming out perfectly. That's life, girlie girl. 🥰Take care of the important stuff (and people!) first. We'll be here when you return. Also, thanks for making this - it was fun because you always have such cool, creative ideas for your notebooks.😎
Hope you are feeling better, you have a beautiful set up! Loved your little girl saying "Hi" and "I love you" it was so precious. God bless you and your family!
19:20 if using highlighters isn't working where you keep your jounal, consider symbols. If you really want color, consider both, symbols and color. If a color isn't handy, draw in the symbol and periodically sit down with Evy on a coloring day and color in your symbols. 💕🌞🌵😷
@@HeartBreathings, truthfully, I setup all my keys with symbols and colors... That way if I have a few minutes in the school pickup line, I can mark it with a symbol and not worry about throwing my highlighters in my bag as I frantically try to move the car forward in line to pickup my child. It also saves time coloring in my tracker after the fact because I only handle the highlighter bundle periodically instead if every day. 💕🌞🌵😷
I am not a planner girlie, but I have decided I really need to be an author notebook girlie to keep things straight for my books, and seeing things be "okay-to-be-imperfect" in your planners is such a relief. I am a massive perfectionist and even just making header pages is daunting because I don't like my handwriting, etc. Seeing yours just be free form and natural is like giving me permission for mine to be that way too, lol!
I hope you get to feeling better very soon! Pneumonia sucks, I had to go to the ER for a massive drop in my blood pressure, and due to the city being completely overrun with Influenza A and Covid, they had me in the hallway on a hospital bed...I was discharged but got very sick three days later, tested and found out I have CoFu (Covid and Influenza at the same time) and my husband got Noroviris (bad stomach flu) from the cafeteria there, which I caught two days after he was over it...and the combination gave me pneumonia. Remember to slow down, breathe and take it easy. Self-care is proactive care for everyone else around you as well! I hope your family feels better soon too! Sending positive vibes and well wishes for the new year!
❤ I love watching your planner setups. I put this one on and did my own weekly planning, sorta like body doubling with a bestie. Also, Evie coming in and whispering "I love you" is the sweetest thing! 🥰 Oh my heart! My daughter is 18 and fixin to head to college next year. I miss her being that little. So precious. 💖
Thank you for always being such an inspiration. I needed your message at the end! Ioved the set-ups. I hope you feel completely better soon, and the same for the kids. Looking forward to the notebook challenge.
I have followed you for a while and love that you stick to a morning journaling routine. I’ve never done that but really want to. I’m really good at the night time stuff but the morning stuff gets me 😂. But I’m thinking I’m going to give it a go because you have inspired me ❤.
I bought my first Sterling Ink B6 Common Planner this year and am loving it so far. I am using the yearly overview to track birthdays, trips, and big events. I think I am going to use the January 2026 spread for a "25 in 25" spread. Thanks for sharing your setup.
Excited to sit down and watch this ❤ Recovering from a minor surgery and a crazy week so this is the perfect distraction. Thank you Sarra! Feel better soon 🙏🏻Will support you always
I got the new SI daily planner for my tarot practice/journaling in the B6 size and then the A5 size for my general planner. I still need to do a complete set up.
Take your time. I’ve been fighting a lingering post-bronchitis cough for months. Next year will be better if the November writing month is moved to Spring. Maybe that’ll help you ring in the next New Year refreshed. 😊
I'm actually behind as well! Had two incisors out at the dentist and have been caught up in politics on Threads, go figure. 😮 Ten days in i still haven't worked on my writing as planned. The good thing is we can jump back on things whenever we're ready. Happy 2025. 🎉
My first year in an SI common planner! Nice to see you back, and I'm glad you got a break, even if it was for sick days. Just so you know, BCS members support you over here too, this is where I first found you!
I have been trying to decide between Hobonichi and Sterling/Common for tarot and moon journaling. This is the first video I've seen addressing both. Thank you!!
You gave me ideas for my 2025 setup, I'm still not finished it! I used some of your journaling prompts to think how I want this year to go. Hope things calm down for you soon Sarra, you sound super busy!❤
I did a washi tape dashboard in my b6 for the first time recently, I'd been avoiding it telling myself not to waste the washi but my goodness do I love staring at it, I'm obsessed with it now haha
The pages in the front that you were referencing, I use one in my Happy Planner for steps and the other for what self care activity I did (if I did one).
Feel better! SI full years are such chunks. I love all the extra paper, but none of my covers fit, either. What if you put the outer cover (plastic) in the cover (Moterm) but not the book cover (Sterling Ink)? 🤣 I love watching your setups every year. Hope your whole family gets healthy!
I'm with you on what to do with that December monthly page. This year I made it my 25 in 2025 page. Put my intentions in 25 blocks and decorated around the page . I love it!
You make washi dashboards look SO easy, I'm jealous 😂 My scissors will get stuck together on the tape, I'll drop my planner while trimming the washi, I'll lay it too tight so my pages are wonky... Maybe I just need more practice, lord knows I have enough washi to do it with 😂
Just a thought for the covers that aren’t fitting. Maybe you can trim the black cover just a tiny bit to make it narrower & fit in the clear plastic cover?
It’s the 13th of the year and I still haven’t done any of my goal setting or reflection for this year. I’ve just moved across the country last minute and trying to find a place to live. I completely understand feeling behind and not starting the year the way we wanted to. We’ll figure it out though.
If I were you, I'd consider using one of those calendar pages the you don't have plans for to track your mood, energy and monthly cycle... All on one page. So you can see the pattern more easily. You'll see like Dr. Mindy says, here on YT, that your cycle, mood and energy are linked and how you can adjust your planning/activity level, diet and fasting accordingly. 💕🌞🌵😷
Sure hope you all are feeling better, and that you didn't get caught in the weather. We drove from Houston to VA and got here just before the ice, etc. Happy New Year to you and yours ----- and your nails are GORGEOUS! 💜
So I come from an IT background where 'dashboard' has a very distinct meaning. What does a washi dashboard accomplish other than beauty? (Not being negative - just curious!)
In the planner community we tend to use the word dashboard for any divider, insert, or planning space that can serve as a home for sticky notes, temporary notes, or keys/index information. Throughout the year, we might throw different stickers, information, logs, color coding keys, sticky notes etc on there for easy reference! What does it mean in IT?
@@HeartBreathings In IT, we usually it for a screen giving an overview of the status of some system! So not that different, but in IT-land it usually combines a bunch of little widgets, graphs, and other indicators that are updated in (close to) real time. For instance, there might be a dashboard for your router which shows how many devices are connected and the signal strength to each, how long the router has been powered on, what the upload/download speed is, what firmware version is running / when it was last updated, firewall rules, and a graph of upload/download bandwidth over time.
Get well soon!! I cannot recommend growing your own herbal remedies enough. For the whole family. There’s some super berries that are great for the immune system.
@@HeartBreathingslocal farm tours are great fun for the fam and can get a clearer idea of what grows best in your area. Some are more private than others. There’s also extensions through local colleges to support smaller agriculture projects from homestead to farm. Check local health food store bulletin boards!! 💜

51:25 her covers are known to shrink. If it’s from last year batch.
Yes it is from last year! I did put a hair dryer on it and I think it's helping to stretch it out hopefully.
I like those habit trackers you printed out for your planner.
I am on my second b6 stalogy and even set up some calendars for the first six months.

NC huh? Anywhere close to Asheville? That’s where I am. Also, fyi The free monsters co. Each month is in the newsletter each month.
We will mostly be in the Greensboro area, where my in laws are! And thank you! I didn't think to check the newsletter!
@ that’s so close to me! Cool! Safe travels! I’m also an hb90 alumni so I feel like I know you. 😝 haha
Hey! I got the CMCo calendars from Facebook late last year, but I couldn't find the link. Let me know if you still want them. 😀
Someone said they are in the newsletter so I found them!
Raleigh!
I found a relatively inexpensive great cover for my Sterling Ink on Etsy - I can look up the shop name.
