  • I will show you how to use the DAP Wall Repair Patch Kit with DryDex Spackling. You don't need to be a professional (I'm not) to know how to patch a hole in your drywall. Here is a link to get it from Amazon: amzn.to/3qtvgLp
    this will cover and fix any holes that you may have at home. I know that doorknobs are notorious to leave some of these. In my case, I covered a hole that I had in my bathroom.
    I get a small commission from the affiliate link above. It helps me. thanks!

    Hmm it didn't really work for me. It either left a bump on the wall, or I sanded down to the white mesh square. How do you sand it down completely flat against the wall?

    • @TricksTipsFix
      @TricksTipsFix  Год назад +1

      It will never be 100% flat since you are putting something over the wall. In my case you can still see it if you know where to look and focus on this part of the wall.. but no one will do that by themselves.

      If you get larger finishing knives then you can apply more coats going wider and then feather it out. This video is helpful BUT it's not the exact way to do this if you're looking for a "perfect looking" repair. Also, you should prime the repair before painting it to keep the texture of the wall consistent and hide any repair work better.
