"Julia Gates Waltz"

An lovely English waltz written by Pete Shaw from East Anglia who through his friendship with the great Tony Hall, it was recorded on Tony's album "One Man Hand"
I however learnt it by ear from Tom Sennett who is a great melodeon player from near Peterborough area , and the story of Julia Gates is well documented by Tony Hall on his CD and relates to her dancing to Pete Shaws band despite being blind and deaf and she also achieved many other great achievements.

We used to sometimes dance with Julia Gates (to Dennis Cuddles), and this is my all time favourite waltz!

Yep i did'nt know i had done that until i did the same :-) I used a Zoom H4 with 2 mics plugged into into so got total seperation and then left it in stereo.
