@Erik Lerström I don't think the phrase is about people getting arrogant or such, it's rather about how the expectations you have of your heroes are often unrealistic and the person could never hope to fill them because they're merely human just like you. Or that's how I've always understood it, could be wrong of course.

@@kurokokoro1098 Kiara has alluded to it on occasion on her own streams, but she worked hard every day for years on her dream but she eventually had to give it up which lead her to a period of deep depression. Especially with the fluency of her Japanese despite being a foreigner, you can take a guess as to what or where that was. Pekora was a shining beacon during that time which is why Kiara respects her so much

You can really feel Pekora’s anxiety there. She wants to acknowledge Kiara’s feelings, but she doesn’t feel like she knows how, so she just keeps going while trying to think of something to say. I’ve totally done that when someone gets deeper or more complimentary than I’m prepared for. I just... forget what to say in those moments.

Tbh I’m surprised that not everyone thought of that, it was my first thought after hearing that the “Phoenix Burger” couldn’t be made with real Phoenix because Kiara is the only one. Like, bitch, you don’t even have to maintain a farm, you can just have infinite exotic meats, and have a monopoly on it at that, there’s gotta be an exploit or workaround to take advantage of that
I've had this idea since I realized that she was a fast food chain manager who was also a phoenix because I immediately thought of Thor's goats in Norse mythology, which he could slaughter and cook for dinner then revive the next morning in perfect condition as long as their bones remained intact.

I actually feel similar. I like roller coasters because they’re fast, but with a Ferris wheel, they’re slow, and they just swing. Furthermore, you have to go through the entire ride. It’s more like a chore that you can’t do anything about. While I’m not afraid of riding them, they’re just so tedious to me.
