I appreciate the aircraft and mission variety in this. Besides that, I'll stick with the new ones
ethan hatcher new ones are just behind pay walls to have any fun
With the continued mod support it’s still an amazing package
War thunder Is better
Yeah this one is a one time 10 dollar purchase for all the planes + more. The new one with all dlc is like $500-$550 on steam

I dont like how the planes dont really slide when they touch the ground. They go crazy and do wierd flips and shit. I really prefer the new il2 games in terms of physics
Ye I noticed that to, in the old il2 games the planes were really sensitive to contact with the ground and especially other planes.
For anyone seeing this in 2022, *Yes, you can use the mistel*
You'll just need full mission editor
Creating a mission with a Mistel is easy: just create two waypoints for the Ju-88 (Mistel),
then place waypoints for the FW-190A-8 (Mistel). With the FW-190 selected, go to the
Waypoint tab of the Object window, click the Set button and click on the Mistel. This will
link the two in the beginning of the mission.

Could you tell me how did you get to use that bomb at 5:40. I remember it being in the game but can't remember which mission and how to choose it. It doesnt seem to be in the quick mission builder.
It’s a german mission labelled under FW190 (mistell)

@@DimitarStanev you probably can with the full mission builder with a bit of effort. Admit I don't have the game working at the moment to double check but you can do almost anything with the FMB
@@zxbzxbzxb1 my mistake, apparently you can. Weird how there are planes which you can't, not even in missions.
Please do a Mistel Vs. Bombers video as a weapons effects test.
For sure going on my list! Just need to find a mod that gives me the ability to fly the plane outside missions. But ill look into it!

I think that IL 1946 has more realistic crashes than Sturmovik
It's 50/50, sometimes one of the games physics are more realistic in certain scenarios
Stalingrad is pretty good but 46 is a little more realistic
But.... this game is IL Sturmovik 1946.... it’s the same game, is it not?

@@vort-x4896 what do you mean how do you take off? The steering of the Ju88 was made with the inputs of the Fw190, so both steerings where combined, you took off like with every other plane
I recommend getting mods. The game will run, look and sound better. Would do these kinds of videos wonders. Keep up the great work :D
Downloaded the VP pack some time ago but I did something with the files causing my game to crash everytime. But definitely bringing mods back some time!
Whenever I crash in 46 my plane just explodes, I never get any cool crash or wreckage
The key is to be going slow.
Idea: Pick an IL-10 with the AO-19 casettes, and drop them to an enemy plane.
P.S.: I crashed in a city while I went to landing (moscow map), but luckily I survived it.
Haha I’ll make sure that scenario will be featured in the next 1946 video!

As I remember b17 wasn't avaiable for CFS3, only medium bombers like b25

I would love to use a b17 or any other of those planes. But it’s not in my game that are flyable. Are they mod and if they are tell me for I can get them .

Mistel is a combination of a fighter and a unmanned bomber in this case it is ju88 and fw-190A

Not using any mods atm. I used VP before but I did something wrong causing the game to crash at startup. Will probably use mods soon though
