1.) Be prepared to commit to drawing. 2.) Get some furniture. 3.) Keep your cords tidy. 3.) Get a really good computer with lots of memory. 4.) Get a pen display or tablet for drawing. 5.) Don't work at night. 6.) Get stuff that helps you type and use shortcuts. 6.) Get a microphone, and a headset if you don't live alone. 7.) Get a device to help you make music, and master a digital audio studio before drawing because you want to make money, you will be twice as slow if you have to master a drawing tablet and a music suite.
(((I wonder how much this animation studio setup costs ;and what types of animation can be produced with it. I already know about a Jon Draper startup range would be $5k-$40k , and price tags for this setup are crucial to know. )))
Hey, thanks for sharing. I've been thinking about that exact configuration for a while. Knowing that I can't stand any wobbling, I decided to hold off. How is the wobble?
Also, don't forget the hard drive (hard disc) space. I personally use 8TB of NVME M.2 hard drive space, plus another 12TB of 10k rpm SATA 3 disk space. Videos, games, movies, reference photos, etc take up a massive amount of space. Just saying. You can never have too much hard drive space.
I have a 4k multitouch pad batteryless pen with eraser at end. A strong big standing desk wkth presets and keyboard tray, my monitor is the samsung odyssey neo g9. A boom mic with an arm, an elgato stream deck with dials to adjust the opacity and brush size. No wobble. A big power unit for everything. Headphone holders on each side. A pc with ddr5 ram 32gb 12th gen i7 rtx msi 4090 no coil whine 1300w seasonic.
Not meant as specific targeted commentary cause what works for one might not for others. But I feel the key thing missing here is arm rests unless you'd move everything farther back so you could lean onto the desk. Which would also give you more room for things like the keyboard instead of having to put it on a tray. I have a slightly modified second hand corner desk myself. I like that it offers depth and stability + storage And i use a sideways mouse because that orientation helps against things like Rsi/repetitive strain for your wrist muscles. But I love seeing people show of their different approaches no one size fits all. Just thought I'd share another option for people reading the comments.
same thing i was thinking while watching, setup is sick, but after a while drawing with no arm support, u will get severe shoulder pain. also 16GB of ram is too low for any serious animation workflow
hello @NobleFrugal i have a quick question if it can be answered! with the mic does the medal pieces holding the mic come with the mic in the link or no?
One more con is that many standing desks don't have drawers or shelves for storage, so you'll need separate furniture which can be a problem if you're limited on space
I'm considering getting a standing desk.for the one I'm looking on amazon soneone said that when fully extended it can wobble a bit. Is that true for all standing desks?
This is a very informative and well put together video. also I will be as nice as possible saying this but the pig's face in the thumbnail (it's more blown up there) in my recommended looked like something that starts a \/ because of the way his nostrils are and I had not seen character previously so I did not know what I was looking at, at first. I thought I would mention. this is being recommended to a lot of people right now and they might bring it up in an annoying manner later.
Cool, but for now all I wish to have was a digital drawing tablet with a screen on it, my current drawing tablet wasn't bad but sometimes for drawing a long period of time my wrist hurts "like a lot", and I highly recommend a laptop, no need for a high-end just a few years back gaming laptop would do it,(because where I live power shortage is a big issue, you gotta save what you've drawn or lost it, can't complain it) and last but not least stay safe and get, well rested before you hit the point of completely burnt out, ride some motorcycle or go on a hike or play some games😁 live your life to the fullest and always have a side hustle work.
Is there a big table display that you recommend for teens? My 15 year old has a tablet and uses procreate but wants to upgrade to a bigger drawing tablet
the xp 13 pro is what i use and i love it, xp pen is pretty unproblematic and simple, if you have any questions im opened to trying to help if i can! (also if they use procreate then are you planning on upgrading to a bigger ipad, tablet or specifically a drawing tablet that works with computer?)
bro i am an intermediate student and i want to learn animation and i am learning how to draw so how should i start as beginner how much you spend on your setup
🤔estamos a finales del año 2023, y aun veo como la mayoría comete el error de colocar la torre (PC) al lado de donde trabaja uno, el monóxido de carbono que se genera no es el adecuado para la persona.
Just discovered your channel, youre doing what i wanna get into doing. Liked the set up and was insightful for equipment i knew little to nothing about. I subbed so as i got time ill def be watching your videos. Keep up the good work :)
How come? Curious your thoughts. Since he has a screen drawing table there’s not much space that is both comfortable and efficient to use to place it that I can think of
“Art is a dish that spoils when rushed” - very true!

This looks like a dream setup for me!
Same! ^^

Same here!!!!!!!!!
I love how simplistic but practical this setup is! It’s so clean
Woah this might be the most cleanest art studio I've ever seen. Clean and white totally my type.
Ayyyyy yo, I’m picking up on something extra here…😂
@@Famedawg wdym??
The all in one studio. Art, music production, and gaming!
Mine is like that, but messier.
I'm terrible at organization haha
Music production without speakers, yeah..
@@lucifero9077 you’ve heard of headphones right?
music production without space for midi keyboard
thats what i want 😭
This Desk looks like an artist version of heaven.
Bro the fact that you're a finger drummer, too you definitely earned a new follower for life. GREAT VIDEO! Love from Milwaukee
First step: drop $10k
Step 0
*GET 10k*
Step -1: be born
If you can’t make $10k animating you probably won’t get the most out of that setup anyway
I don't think it's that expensive bro
@@tjtjmich16p that’s. Very unsmart to say he litterly showed the price,s and every one is hundreds of dollars did you pay attention too the video.
My xp-pen 24 pro just arrived... I'm so happy
I have the same XP-Pen. Got an Amazon arm for it and can't imagine using it without it now.
Hey, thanks for sharing. I've been thinking about that exact configuration for a while. Knowing that I can't stand any wobbling, I decided to hold off. How is the wobble?
that keyboard tray is slick!!
I would be immersed in my own world for hours with this setup ❤
My dream studio 😭✨

Wow almost at 100k been here sence 4k keep up the good work
Man I love the setup here.

@@FineBoi I have no arm rests either and my shoulders are fine! The issue with armrests for me at least is that they get in the way
You don't need an arm rest, it's in the name arm rest are just to rest your arms when your not typing, doesn't effect anything else
the best setup i have ever seen
Try them Loctek standing desk they are solid.
I really love this form of setup, got me thinking of this form of setup now
Literal dream workspace, great video and thanks for sharing your space!!
Nice. I already have most of this stuff.
Question.... What stand are you using for the notebook? It looks cool
its in the base section in their description it looks like!
hello @NobleFrugal i have a quick question if it can be answered! with the mic does the medal pieces holding the mic come with the mic in the link or no?
Haha, I arrived at this exact same setup myself :D The keyboard tray is so intuitive I cringe at anyone using a pen display without one!
Very clean set up✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Would you rather have the fixed xppen drawing monitor or would the portable Galaxy Tab 9s Ultra be the overall better choice?!
Wow I started my set up thanks
Dont know how i mssed this, clean production.
Well since I don't have my own place. My bedside will just have to do. 😅
What kind of budget should be considered for this type of setup (desk, "controllers" and monitors only)
Nice video! You have me some ideas for upgrading my workstation. Do you have a link for the drawing pad stand?
This dope and so helpful! Thanks for doing this man. Gives me a lot inspiration!!
@noblefrugal I have the latest iMac do you think that would be a sufficient computer for animation.
Dope! Thanks for sharing, definitely bookmarking this! Great content!
Thank you for showing me this i appreciate it
This is truly incredible !!!!❤❤❤❤😮😮.....I am dying to have this set up 😮😮❤❤❤
Decent setup.
Pretty nice video! Could you share the link for the notebook stand that you have on the side? It looks pretty convenient 😊
Thanks for watching. Sure you can find it under BASE: tablet stand in the description. Happy animating!
One more con is that many standing desks don't have drawers or shelves for storage, so you'll need separate furniture which can be a problem if you're limited on space
Wow. Our setups are actually pretty similar. I just have to clean mine up a bit 🤣
If I may ask, how much did you get the whole set-up?
What are the clamps that u are using for ur keyboard? I been looking for something like that for a while
Im not even close to be an artist, i pretty much suck, but i like to see people set ups xD
700$ for a wobbly desk, great!
My dream 😭♥️👏👏👏👏 congratulations 🎉😎👏👏
Love the video, very well thought out. Good job, keep up the great content!

Who you make the camera angle that show you art/draw?

Do you make lot of money from animation to buy all these?
I have done those steps
16 gigs of ram...that's adorable.

What kind of Nvidia gpc to use like 3050 or 4060

Is the table a stand alone or does it require a laptop?
haha nope bro
nice
I know I need a new desk! You don't have to remind me!

Do a drawing contest giveaway for some of those items to help out those who want pursue animation
Uhhhh….now I want to see a video of you using the 3DS emulator, Citra. You can split the screen between the two. A giant 3DS……..
Is this a robot generation voice what a weird cadence xP
Think im gonna need a bigger desk...
i mean ODA had a desk and a pencil
Ugh the pullout tray for the keyboard and mouse ruins everything.
