Maybe in some places. The majority do not hit 100k. I have over 1300 trips in ten months and I can tell you the pay gets worse, zones get redrawn and expanded up to 50 miles, and Home Depot offers are the worst paying oversized items you probably can’t even fit in your car. Everything from pay, what stores you receive offers from, is subject to change at Walmarts discretion.

Are you averaging $24 a trip? How many hours a day would you say you are driving and in what market?

I have been Sparking for almost a year. The tips are great and the pay is good also. Sometimes you might have to drive 7-8 miles to deliver but they pay you more. Your tips don’t show till the next day. I make more on sparks and less hours then other gigs.

I have to agree been doing Spark for a year also the pay in my zone is much better than other gig apps. And spark just added Home Depot and Sam's club in my zone the tips from Sam's club are huge.
I read the insurance Accident pdf. Do you have to pay them to start working?
I got none of tips. So I was paid less than half the pay displayed.
The customer doesn’t put those tips in, Spark does!
You would be a fool to drive for Spark.

In the Dallas-Fort Worth area there are plenty of jobs but be careful for "estimated earnings" and always check on that as it includes estimated tips promised that rarely come through. Also, more customers are choosing the no-contact delivery which I think they feel is a great excuse not to tip. The multi-delivery jobs also require a lot of driving. I work for Cornershop by Uber and it is way better plus you don't have to deliver heavy items like furniture lol!
Thanks for the heads up on the Cornershop tip. The reason I chose Spark is because I don't want to go into the store and shop, I just want to deliver and make sure the groceries are delivered in quality condition. Is Cornershop that way too?
If you do groceries you’ll never be out of a job people need to eat
One more thing The biggest attraction to spark is the bonus pay and the shopping and delivery orders they are the gold stars of spark. Typically bonus pay is for evening orders but sometimes for day orders as well.
Fyi, sometimes there may be a significant wait prior to getting loaded up. They do compensate for that wait time by increasing the extra effort pay. It is not unheard to get offers of $15 or more for just a few miles.
I only do spark now . I don’t do any eat apps anymore. I make twice as much money on spark then any of them .

I can't even get signed up. I put in all my info, documents, and everything. Now when I try to login to see my application status they keep saying I'm putting the wrong username or password in. Reset both of them, and still saying I'm putting in the wrong infor even though I literally reset them. Guess they don't want new drivers anymore.

Spark is new to my area here in western MA. My map was not available for a week so I decided to Uninstall the app and reinstall it and when I logged back in the availability option was in the explore option on the main page. Hope that helps! Thank you for your great videos and God Bless!!
I only do 1 trip at no less than $15.00 and Me personally I like no tip trips because if you have to have Spark cancel an order because Walmart curbside is taking too long then they pay almost 30% on the cancel Money you get for waiting. I also do not pick up more than 50 items. Anything over that is too much time to deliver to the door, especially if you are doing bonus trips to get extra pay.
Hey Mike if you haven’t figured it out yet there’s no schedule there’s just Spark Now from 6am to 10pm
Also I never worry about scan the labels often times the associates don’t give them to you. I try to ask for them but I usually just skip scanning them and it has bee fine. Tips do take a day to show up which is aggravating to keep track of your full earnings per order.
Have you ever done this gig before? Just asking because I drive for both Walmart and Gopuff and I saw that you had videos for both gigs. Also I have a vlog where I show how the process goes. Much success peace and prosperity to you and yours.

I'm in Orlando Florida, this is the only app I'm using now since November.. Uber eats is really not good at all $2 & $4, most of the time and a ridiculous amount of miles.. Ever since I started doing sparks sparks it is so much better and the bonuses are continuously.. The weekend of New Year's they gave $70 bonus for 9 trips 2 days in a rowAnd prior to that they were giving 35 for 9 trips and even 40 for 9 trips.
Everyone will have a different experience depending on how big their zone is, quality of orders, volume of orders, amount of other drivers competing for orders, store associate efficiency, and bonuses are generally geared towards Walmarts needs. Even if your lucky to have a busy store which is of quality, your zone will be expanded, your guaranteed pay is guaranteed to get lower( regardless if it’s DDI taking it or not). Your experience is subject to rapid change. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket!

I have lots of questions that were answered like how far away from the Walmart do I have to be before I can put the spark app on? When you leave for work do you drive to a Walmart and put your app on and sit there and wait for orders?

Hi Michael I have a great question about the app, in miami were I stay everything seems to be full. Is it possible I pick another county in just change the zone.
When you turn on app there's a list of times you can choose that tells when you're available up to that time
Another comment too when you said you turn down an offer and stood at the Walmart I've been working for a month-and-a-half now and I've done the same thing and have been in the parking lot as long as three hours without getting a single order while I watch Cars come in and out getting orders and none show up on my screen so they obviously have a lot of app issues also one thing I didn't know that the more offers you turn down or reject in the near future the left orders they will send you

I was told the uninstall the app, and then install it again. It worked for me. Still waiting for my first order though :(
Just got everything set up today.
Also to the pay bonuses yes a lot of bonuses appeared the first two to three weeks but now I'm into my 7th week and there hasn't been no bonuses at all the entire week
Also very important to keep in mind. You can always call The helpline and let them know that there are some stores that you would like to take off your zone... In Orlando there's obviously a lot of stores, but in the zone that I am actually in can take me almost 10 to 15 miles away from the zone that I want to be in.. Once you start driving just start remembering the store numbers that way you can tell them the store numbers that you want to keep and the store numbers you want to drop.. Trust me when I tell you that will help you and save you time.. The miles that they give you to go pick up doesn't count the drive it takes you to go to the store. Sometimes they will send me to go pick up as far as 9 miles away when I have 3 stores there are so close to where I am currently located.. Just think driving 9 miles to the store which can take you 15 to 20 minutes if it's early in the morning with traffic. And then when you get there it tells you you're driving away 10 miles or 12 miles with 2 orders..

@@sulyruiz659 I applied on the middle of October.. And 3 weeks later I believe the beginning of November I was already driving... The process takes a little long at times. I was told by my friend that I got higher pretty quick.. His took a lot longer. But I think it was because it was during the holidays I got higher faster
@@sulyruiz659 I don't know what state you're in but, here in Orlando Florida they have sent out messages to drivers like myself, to invite friends and as an incentive they will give you $300 for the 1st 25 deliveries that person that you refer to the application.. So I think that means they want more people.. But my brother applied on November and he's still waiting to get hired himself.. So I don't know

I been doing spark for a month and just got hired for working at Walmart. Do I just logout or the spark app since you can’t do spark for Walmart? If I can’t will I still get paid if tips come in later?
I need a walk thru on in store shopping on how to navigate all the things that can happen, like sub, edit, produce, meat not scanning etc
Spark is my dayshift gig for now. The money is good and at the end of the week its makes my dollars to miles nice. Plus the miles I do put in it are a lot easier on the car. DD pays so low I have to bust butt to get enough orders to make it worth the time. But I know I'm beating up my car.
My only complaint is locally they have high turnover. I could probably knock out a couple more orders in a shift if the Walmart store side ran a little better. But its still decent enough or I wouldnt keep doing it.
The app does have a couple of bugs. Also shopping can be annoying because it makes you pick in order which means a lot of back and forth sometimes. These orders usually pay really good around here so it makes up for it.
You can select any order from the shopping list and scan it. If you can't find it, go to the next one. You just can't replace any items you choose from unless it's the one the app currently started you to pick.
Yes nothing is popping up to set my availability! If I wait a week it will pop up?
Have you seen the service agreement for this app for insurance? I'm confused - Schedule 3.4 Payment. Bottom of file. Why does it say the Contractor agrees to pay fees? Thank you in advance.

Settings your availability is something they stopped maybe 6 months ago. Now there is a button in the upper right corner of the screen you toggle that on and set it for 1 to 4 hrs. Otherwise you will not get any offers.

I have tried resetting my password and do not get any email from them to reset it also I have submittec tickets with no answer and they do not answer phone. How do you setup paying your taxes from Walmart spark driver?
I’ve been trying to get in touch with the company DDI and it’s absolutely useless, do you think you can make a video about how to get in touch with them? Trust me I’m not the only person with this issue. I applied in August 2022 I’m trying to finish up my application but I can’t even get in touch. I’ve sent Emails after Emails and nothing. I live in California where there office is based out of, I’m literally considering paying a visit to see if it’s a real company. There 40 minutes out but at this point they are so frustrating.

Been doing it since October. Easy money but the only downside I've dealt with are bait tippers. This is where the customer will put in a 5, 10 even a 20 dollar tip to bait you into grabbing that order, then after you deliver it, they go back on the Walmart sight and turn that nice tip into a tip of $0.00 Not all people are like this but it definitely can piss you off knowing there was no reason for them retracting your tip. Spark needs to change this. No one wants to drive 10 miles for 8 bucks.

@@Tangleddogs Yea, it really puts a bad taste in your mouth. A few weeks ago, I did a delivery that was totaled at $25... $10 for the enitial payment and $15 tip from the customer, and was only half a mile drive. It was 10 cases of water... I decided to keep tabs on it because It was my only delivery of the day. Fast forward 24 hours later and the $15 tip never popped up. I was so mad that I got lucky enough to run into the guy a week later, and I called him by his name. He gave me a look as if he saw a ghost and I asked him why did he retract his tip? He said times are rough. I literally held my anger in and let it go but I'm sure he'll think twice about doing some dirty ish like that just to get his order quick.
@@mrcruz106 no he won't think twice he's probably just the scamming type. I'm new at this but I can see it's going to be a hassle checking back to see if we got our tips at all , it's like they're trying to confuse us. Apparently I had one retracted on my first day also. I hope this isn't going to be a pattern .
@@Tangleddogs Not everyone is like this and I've gotten most of my tips. It's always 1 or 2 bad apples out there. Another thing that actually is good, is the longer you wait for a delivery to come to your car, the enitial pay out goes up. Example... yesterday I grabbed an order that was 11 bucks with no tip. I waited about 35 minutes for my car to be loaded. When I finished the delivery, the payout was 16 bucks. Spark will compensate you for waiting a longer time which is pretty cool. It really is easy work for the most part so don't give up on it. They also pay weekly on Tuesdays.
your acceptance rate gets dinged not ur drop rate, if u accept then cancel or refuse your round robbin. they want u to accept everything whether it’s profitable or not and will get less orders. spark says they give priority in giving orders to those who hv an acceptance rate.

When Walmart open register in Canada?
I did spark for a month. There are way to many drivers in my area in New Jersey. Offers are decent, but your lucky to get many. I’m going back to Door Dash.
I am not finding the change zone on my app. I have my city as my zone but there are two zones to the south of me (30 min and 1 hour away).
In California WM uses Uber Eats for pick-up and delivery. I went to Spark’s site and sure enough California is not listed. WM orders typically pay higher than food delivery.

The expected time for delivery is ridiculous. Im getting started but I'm seeing arrival times and then expected delivery time is like 5min later. Its not like the employees come out right away when you arrive at Walmart so I don't see how you could hit the on time expectancy
I see they are mixing in shopping and delivery as per what is said on the website. It says you will get both shopping and delivery orders and as well just delivery. I guess you need to make sure you just pick the delivery only ones if thats what your looking to do but it did say both will be sent to the app. Anyone see any of those yet and are they easy to distinguish between the 2? Hey Mike, thanks for the great video! I've just received my initial spark driver app login after waiting approximately 3 months. One question I have that doesn't seem to be addressed in any of the online tutorial videos; how does the Navigation tool within the spark app work if your android phone is plugged into your built-in dash navigation system via a USB connection with "Android Auto." I would much prefer to use the larger screen in my car to the relatively small screen on my smart phone. Any thoughts or guidance on this would be appreciated! I had my step son look at the app and he could not figure out the problem as well. The app gets stuck on the very first step with me trying to set up an account. I even tried setting up an account with my desktop computer. Same problem. Maybe my local Walmart does not use Spark. At a loss here.

I cannot get past the very first step. It asks me to select an area I will deliver to. I type in my zip code and hit next. Nothing happens, it goes right back to what area I would like to deliver to. What am I doing wrong. I am simply trying to set up an account.

What happens if you accidentally delete you account? I was having difficulty accepting the orders offered to me, and tried everything to make the app work, including shutting down, reloading the app, and restarting my phone. Still, I wasn’t able to accept orders, and now that I have deleted my account, thinking I can create a new account, it says I already exist in the system. The problem I’m currently experiencing is, I can’t log back into my app or account:(! Does anyone have solutions for experience in this kind of problem??!

It depends on how close you are to Walmart. If other drivers are closer than you, they will get the offer. If you sit at home, you might end up making $0. I have to travel to Walmart and wait everyday. If I don't, my account earnings will stay blank. They need to fix their algorithm.
Has anyone when they first signed up tried to sighn into the app and they say the email doesn't work and when you try to reset the password it says email isn't registered when it is
I have a question. How do you set up your payment on walmart spark??? As soon as you sign up or after they accept your application. I'm confused
@Daniel Brockman I end up finding out that you have to set up branch account. In order for you to set up an account, they will send you a link to your email. You'll have to use that link to set up the DDI so Walmart spark will beable to deposit your money. Yes I had a hard time but eventually it work. I called branch customer service and Walmart spark. They both explained to me how it works.

They use a feature called Spark now for getting orders
Beware they have the option to take back tips with in 24 hours. Spark processes the payment right away but it takes 24 hrs for the tip..one of the Walmarts in my zone the customers are really bad about that.

The availability option was removed a while ago and it's not needed to complete or receive offers.
They will continue to drop your acceptance rate if you don't work within the default settings. The availability option needs to come back for that reason. As soon as your rating drops too low, they will limit your batches.
@@sf7987 I've never seen a limit and my acceptance rate is 2%. I stay busy on the app all day.
@@FazedWorld You're probably in a busier area than I am. I wish I can say I am as busy as you but they keep giving me batches around the 20 mark of every hour. After that, I have to sit until the next 20 mark or miss a whole batch if I'm not back at Walmart by the next mark due to delivering orders. I really wish they would fix this because I can never chill at home and wait for an order.
@@sf7987 yeah I have a nice zone here in az it seems. I'm able to hang out at my place and wait for a close 30 dollar order. But lots of second floor Apts and such to make the bigger money

Yes, You are put on a waitlist. They will email you when you can sign up. I was on a wait list for about a month and a half. Hope that helps.
why don’t u hv spark now? that’s weird. in that case u need availability but we all use spark now.
Doordash is a 4.2 before deactivation and that's very hard to do
