- My favorite map has finally come to ASA and I am more than excited to do another playthrough on it to see what's been added, improved on, and changed from ASE! Today we spawn in and instead of taking things slow like I usually do in these series, I've decided to pick up the pace a little bit and make some good progress in this first episode!

Stegosaurus name sugesstion: Spagasaurus
If you don't have it there, spagosaurus is pasta in dinosaur shapes (rexes, stegos, trikes, pts and brontos) Its typically sold in tins in spaghetti sauce. It was a favourite of mine as a child. Suggesting this because of the high food stats 😂

You are correct, you do look at a horse's mouth to estimate their age, but you're looking at the teeth specifically. You can find charts online as to what to look for on a horse's teeth to guess their age.
As always great way to kick off a new series! Great to see you back to extinction!

Always keep armadoggo in companion mode, then it can never die. When it's health gets low or runs out it will bury itself for an hour to recover then it will come back out of the ground and return to you. But if it's not in companion mode then when it loses its health it stays dead and you'll have to tame another one

Heya Schwalbe! Nice to see you again in Aberration. I had been following your ark series since before the voice reveal, and the map is indeed quite nostalgic for it! Just wondering if you would consider using the paleo ark mod to replace the vanilla Rexes and Gigas (once their spawn bugs are fixed, that is). If for any reason, then just to at least make them worth taming and having around. The vanilla designs did not age quite so well, and for the most part dont feel like they are worth the effort ^-^;

Also the doggo will always follow you you can fly across the map and it will teleport to you

i like the faster pace, i would say slow down later on and actually do stuff with some of the creatures like the enforcer and all other extinction creatures
Remember you can get all the scorched resources on this map. So a boomerang might not too far off

I think you should play with max level 300 for extra challenge
@@Elite_forc contrary to what it may seem, a higher max level actually makes the game easier. The bonus levels higher base level creatures gain makes them so far and above stronger than the wilds that I've actually gotten a lot of complaints about it, which is why I moved to difficulty 5. Sure, things like taming is slightly harder, but if I can knock something out with 50 tranqs, I can do it with 100, so the higher torpidiydoesnt matter much

There’s something kinda sad about the ASA meteor storms that has been changed from ASE that really takes away from the cool factor of them. I’m not gonna say what so you can enjoy them for as long as possible without being let down.

Is it just me, or is the video quality REALLY low? Even when forcing it to 1080p60 is looks washed out. I know RUclips compression can be bad, but this is much worse than I've ever seen 1080p before. More like 480p scaled up to 720p. I noticed this in his older videos too, it's just much more noticeable now.

Havent played it yet since i dont have a device that can run it, but so far it seems okay for PvE and SP, but rough for PVP
@ what about crypods?
@@AmaarPIayZ you can grind the keys relatively quickly in PvE and SP so pods arent awful, but the fridge is annoying
@@SchwalbeYT still hoping they allow us to toggle the cryofridge feature or make them cost normal resources
