Your reaction makes the song more emotional. I cried listening to this because of my own feelings as well, I had my own reason for my sadness. You had your own feelings, I am proud you are even able to talk about such an emotional thing. I probably wouldn’t be able to, stay strong! I have a sister, she once told me she had depression during our childhood and I NEVER KNEW! I was so sad when she told me she suffered from depression for a year. She said she once tried to approach me and talk about it but she was too afraid to open up and that’s why she was suffering for so long, luckily she got out of it but I truly regret not being able to be there for her, but she never blamed me and I’m sure your brother has never blamed you for anything either!

His first song on stage is a song without any lyrics yet made me feels so much back in the day almost like I can heard his cry. you can search it -> 华晨宇 火星歌 I was suffer in depression, but meting HuaChenYu is really a gift from god to me. somehow, somehow I can feels that he can understand me, the loneliness along with the craziest cry. during the days with my depression, or maybe over thinking from what my family said, luckily I was able to found a friend who really know me and accept me.

I'm rewatching your videos of Home Free and Hua Chenyu. I haven't seen this video in 2 years. I didn't cry on song #3. But watching this one, I started crying. The feeling of loneliness and not being able to connect with others just beyond touch.... I don't recall doing this before... Maybe the feeling of helplessness of losing my job of about 25 years due to this worldwide event. The stress of monthly bills and trying to get a job. Being the only 'breadwinner' of the household. Maybe this is why I've reacted emotionally to this. I felt his loneliness and his struggle.

I never met someone like HuaHua... the word that always come to my mind is Tenderness... the way he sings and express his emotions are so deep. He expose himself like never before about depression and it shows that he grow on that matter. He was a Quasimodo who love and cherish his loneliness... but now he really need his friends, his ET . I cried with u, buddy. i felt what you felt. The third one Madhouse, to me is a "fun" song. I'm not emotionally related to the song, but I love the melody.
I actually cry every single time listening to 'Mad House'. The melody is uplifting, but the lyrics remind me so much of my painful experience.
Madhouse is very deep and sad , ., not fun, though the melody is trying, ...that dichotomy that only HUA can express in its unique way. ....
