I’ve had a banjolele for 12 months and hardly ever picked it up - deciding I preferred the ukulele. Discovering your Chanel has opened up a whole new chapter for me. I can now enjoy both by playing different songs. Thanks so much!

Hey Gavin! That's exactly what I found as well! I find there are songs/styles I play on stand ukes and ones I play on banjo ukes and it has opened up a lot of new material and playing options. I'm having a blast with it. Glad you're enjoying your banjo uke now as well!! Kelly

I find it helpful to hum the song first, while trying to do the very fast strumming. Good way to transition into singing the lyrics.

@@Sue-vo3lq that is exactly what I do. I hum till I get the strumming/chords - then I work on one verse at a time for the kyrics

Thanks for the lesson! I especially liked the strum options. I’ve been stuck in the island strum and need to break out!

Hey Steve! Glad you enjoyed it. If you're looking for strumming options check out the videos on "double strum" and "5 Steps to My Secret Strum" - they're kinda fun! I love working a number of different strums into one song. I just recorded a video about that called accent strumming - it'll be out in a couple of weeks. Love your channel by the way! I used to build and repair instruments too. Thanks again! Kelly

Only recently discovered you, pleased I did. You were reviewing the enya mini, so I got one so I could take it away with me in my truck and I love it 👍 since watching you I've had my banjolele back out because I'm loving your lessons on Bluegrass 👍👍👍

A great review of quick chord changes, strumming patterns and hammer-ons. The song was a real foot tapper. A big thank you, Kelly.
