Thank you Annette, Eucalyptus does smell lovely. Bruise a few leaves and put them in your bath water. I only have a small garden so have decided to grow my Eucalyptus in a very large pot. Hopefully it will give me enough twigs for flower arranging. Happy gardening 🤗
Great job guys 👍🏼 & thanks for sharing as iv been just pruning the thin stems wondering why it’s not thickening up lol 😂 I must go lower to the thicker branches ✅ all the best 🌱 Chip
I have a eucalyptus in a very large pot, it has grown loads, and is quiet high, but thr bottom leaves have gone brown, should i cut it right down to the stem?
Hi Laura, I'm not a eucalyptus expert but the bottom leaves may have been caught by some frost. If you live here in UK, then it's not advisable to cut any Eucalyptus back or do any pruning until after 18th March, in order to protect the plant from the cold weather. Hope this helps. 😊
Hi, We actually bought these from a garden centre when they were about 2 foot tall and quite bushy. They were pretty expensive but I didn't know at the time that they are quite easy to grow from seed. I've not had any experience growing from cuttings but I did sow some seeds last year but those are still quite small. I guess it takes a while for them to get started - it would probably help if I had a greenhouse! 😬😁💚

Hi Penelope, Eucalyptus do well in pots - I have a small one that I've been taking cuttings from for years.🌿
Excellent, thank you Annette.

An interesting choice for a hedge
Thanks, we love it, it's a super pretty colour, smells incredible and is good material for flower arranging too!

Did you grow the plants from seeds or cuttings? Ive been wondering what start would be best.
