A different smile crept across her face as Shiho's text popped up in front of her news app. Having had enough of reality for the day, she opened the app to reply. "Hey yourself. Shouldn't you be resting?" "I snuck down to the kitchen for some ice cream. Can't remember the last time I had ice cream." "We had some like two weeks ago." "GOOD ice cream, Ann. You're a sucker for just any ice cream." She laughs to herself and the world fades away in the rain. Time drips away for 2 hours. She misses the announcements of stalled trains, late arrivals, and power failures. She doesn't even look up when the rain lets up and she could walk. She just continues a lovely, normal conversation with the person she would choose to do this with if it WAS the end of the world. "You never said where you were, Ann." Her thumbs hover over the virtual keys a moment, as she thinks of the Thieves, of the world, of changing hearts, and of love unchanged. "I'm right where I need to be."
Every time the P5 soundtrack comes on I'm catapulted back in time. it's always nice to remember how much P5 has given me and how much it still gives me.
Dude this video has been with me through all my finals, projects, assessments since the 3rd semester. Now I am halfway through semester 6 in the AASTMT here in Egypt and I am sure I will play this video while studying and working and even while I work in the future in my career. It's depressing I can't forget this game and replay it, I was in a really dark place at the time, lost my job and home and was living in a caravan, it sucked, with no friends to really confide in, this game took me away from all that and I made some unfortunate parasocial relationships with these fantastic characters
I relate to this so much. P5 helped me immensely, at a crucial point in my life when I was dangerously close to falling into depression. I'd give anything to experience it for the first time again. But we can't, and that might be a good thing? Sometimes a game can be so good that it helps us forget real life, but at some point it has to end. We have to go back to real life, hopefully in a better place/state of mind than we left. I cherish the memories and emotions the game felt me with, but it is tough at times, not getting nostalgic and longing for that first playthrough
