The thing is you can fade them using salt and lemon but don't rub off all ur skin at once. Seriously. Just do it for 5-10 min until it's reddish and stop. Use vitamin E oil everyday on it after. Let it heal up for a couple weeks as you would getting it lazered. And repeat the process. It can still work without destroying ur skin but let it be a process overtime and don't overwork your skin at once. Use medium amount of pressure and rub in circles. Use some kind of healing ointment everyday on it. If you do that for months, you WILL have progress.

Just get a sewing needle, soak it in rubbing alcohol for 10 minutes. Mix a little saline water with a salt to make a paste. Clean the area you're treating with rubbing alcohol. Take needle and gently poke the tattoo all over, then take salt paste and coat it, gently rub it in, should sting a little, and leave it on for like 10-15 minutes. Rinse and clean area with hydrogen peroxide and then let the area dry. Don't get it wet. If your tattoo turns darker, then it's working. Let it scab over. Then cover it in vaseline and then a bandaid. Let it fall off naturally, don't peel it. Oh and this only works on small tattoos. Big tattoos just get laser.

I removed two tattoos one on each hand. I started with 6 treatments of laser which was very painful. Then some one told me of a tattoo shop that did tattoo removal using saline water. They used a tattoo machine but instead of ink they used saline and went over the tattoos over and over again I was bleeding alot but it was way less painful compared to laser. I did about 4 sessions with saline. Laser treatment was $1,500 saline was $150. The tattoos are id say 95% gone. Gone enough to be hired as a Sheriff's Deputy as you cant have tattoos on your hands.

Which would you recommend for the best outcome? Did the saline method leave a scar? Asking because I’m in regret of some butterfly tattoos on my neck, I work at Amazon so working isn’t the issue in my case but still they came out terrible and I don’t want a huge scar on my neck either.

I wouldn't say they scared but they do have a bit of a different look to them. One hand looks a bit scared the other doesn't. I think the one did from getting the original tattoo if I'm not mistaken. The laser treatment for me sucks mainly because it left huge blisters and they leaked out puss often. At the time I was a welder so wearing gloves was painful and keeping them clean was near impossible. With the saline it was more similar to when you get a tattoo it would scab easier to deal with. I would say the saline trick seemed to work the best. And obviously the most cost effective. Have you tried make up? I did that for a while before removing them.
