Awesome video! Footage at 4:03 is great. You could see he almost had a double, a fish moves towards and you think it's the one that is going to hit it then the fish that was hooked starts fighting and you see the other which must have been just under the second or top dropper spook off really quick! Really interesting.
I have watched your video about 4 times now and my son and I are both trying to learn more about fishing for rainbows and the tactics that you use down in England and in Scotland, well the lake of Monteith that’s where we try and fish we both have caught plenty but we are trying to learn more about buzzers and nymphs myself I have fished with a floating line nearly all my life and I am 72 one dropper something nice and bushy on the dropper and maybe a muddler on the point this for the wild brownies up here in Scotland you know what I mean but my son says that I need to change 😂 at my age but I am willing to learn but one question is you named your 5 flies but where can you buy them as I have looked at a few sites and no joy apart from the humongous the Glasgow angling centre sells them can you please help us.
@@ryanpenny4007 oh cheers a million I’ve been on 3 different sites for flies and none of them have any of the ones that he mentions on his video but thanks for your help 👏👏👍🎣
@@kingfishercontent1620 Thanks Iain one of the guys sent me a message how to get your flies on eBay but then I went on to your own site and bought a few but I will be able to take a better look from now on but cheers to you all 👍🎣
Great video, lovely fishery, cant wait to get back over there to meet the new folks after Ed’s retirement. Carlsberg don’t do trout fisheries but if they did….
Be nice if he showed the top 5 flies.
Thanks for that. Really enjoyed your tips and fly choices.

Good info! Being American, I've never heard of these flys.
Great video, still irks me to see tag ends carelessly dumped on the bank.
