I just got the 6000 amp version this week. I will review it soon but need another load tester as I'm afraid of burning another load tester. I will test it on two load testers at once.

I would charge every 3 to 6 months.
The Hulkman has a manual boost feature and on the feature list on Amazon for this AVAPOW A28 jump starter it says "FORCE START FUNCTION - If cannot start the car, please long press the force button for 3s until the green light turns on to start the car" so does this men it has auto boost and Manual Override Boost just in case the Auto Boost does not work?
It's good they put the Light on the same side as where you connect the jumper cables so if it's dark outside when you need to jump start your car you can use the light to shine on the battery so you can see where to hook the cables, it's also good it has Adaptive Quick Charge out put so you can Quick Charge any Android Phone that support Quick Charge.
Once it detects as a load it will auto engage the boost.

I'm a little confused you didnt connect it to the car battery, am I missing something? Also the user manual says to connect the black clamp to the negative port, but I usually see the negative go on a bare piece of metal, would it damage the battery if I do put the black clamp on the negative?
I have a negative post on my vehicle but you can use the battery post if needed.

How can it be auto boost? How does it know to boost without the risk of if there is a short it won't keep increasing the voltage or current or not auto power off if you turn it on and forget you turned it on? Isn't it supposed to auto power off if you don't try to crank your car after 15 seconds of turning it on? If your battery is totally dead, what prevents it from auto powering off while you are trying to crank your car? Does it detect current or voltage draw and then not auto power off? If you over load it will it auto power off to protect it's self from damage?
On Amazon it shows that the Jumper Cables Module or assembly thing has a red force start button right where it plugs into the jump starter on the side where the red jumper cable s attached, and it has a tethered cap to protect the plug when not in use. I don't see this on your unit, and the color of it is glossy black on you unit while the one listed on Amazon is Gray matching the color of the Jump Starter and has ridges making it easier to grip without slipping when you plug it into the Jump Starter.

No long term you can actually damage the vehicle if you do that. I was saying it has enough power to start the vehicle without assistance from the battery.
Why does the Load Tester have heating coils i it and started smoking? Why did they design it to be a fire hazard?
The heater elements act like the load. They handle 100 amps but these jump starter packs have a lot of power and they discharge fast to help start vehicle engines.

I never that in the video that I don’t fake jump starting a vehicle. I show in on the load tester instead. Once you drain a battery it will never recover. That van is in the video is over $100,000.
