☀Thanks for watching! Want to see more of this area? Check out our video about Lauterbrunnen! It's an amazing village.. ruclips.net/video/BQYG_w4EMV8/видео.html
I came across this video while doing research for my upcoming Swiss vacation, and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!! This Tanzbodeli hike has just been added to the top of my itinerary...literally...it's the first thing I want to do when I arrive! You did such a great job creating this video that I had tears in my eyes watching it. The music, the camera work, the drone shots, the info you share, everything! And you two seem like such down-to-earth and lighthearted people. I am now enjoying watching your other Switzerland videos as well! Great work and thanks for sharing your vlogs with all of us.
Hey Parisa, glad you enjoyed the video. It is an amazing hike, really curious to hear your experience once you have done this hike.. We went Switzerland this year as well and explored completely different area. You are gonna love those videos as well.
I forget how beautifully crafted nature is. How beautifully terrifying and mysterious the vastness of it is. So easy to just get lost in it and also to just get lost. You captured all aspects of how nature can make us feel so well; the solitude and tranquility it brings in the choice to not speak in this video, the way you show how small nature can make you feel while also simultaneously feeling harmonious with the nature around you in the camera shots and angles. Just amazing work 🙏🏽❤️
I’ve always loved Switzerland and would like to go someday. I am not much of a hiker but I do Nordic ski and the views you can see in the winter someplaces are breathtaking.
Great video. Thanks. We are lucky enough to go to Switzerland most years in the summer. This hike is definitely one for us to do next year. Looks fabulous. Keep up the good work!
Wao.. so cool that you go there every year. We can also see ourselves going to Switzerland a lot of times, we are actually going there again next month haha
As local I'm proud to have grown up in this region. But we miss the calm days in the nature that everyone is looking for. All these clips encourage people to walk up there, even with no experience. Lot of strangers around instead of loneliness. So why not just enjoy your time and keep the "secrets" for you?🙂
Thank you so much. Countries spend millions of dollars promoting their tourism so may be we should also ask them to keep it a secret haha If not promoted, all the refugees, the restaurants, cafes will have only the pro hikers visiting them which is literally 10% of everyone who does TMB
@@LetsMeetAbroad I agree, but I guess we should realize that less is more in the future. You're just one of thousands and sorry for my comment on your clip. But also a different comment needs to have space. Take care, enjoy, for you and be happy to probably be one of 10% 😉
Nice hike. My favorit hike is also in this area, but on the Grindelwald side. From Grindelwald to First, Bachalpsee, Hagelseeli, Häxeseeli, Grosse Scheidegg and back to Grindelwald. Greetings from Switzerland, Benjamin
What a fantastic video -you two did awesome on this hike and edit. I go to this area a lot, including last summer, and then this next summer will be heading back again. I was wondering if someone does this hike from Gimmelwald to Tanzboden IF they decide to return back to Gimmelwald, would it be easier on the knees for the amount of downhill involved? I did Gimmelwald down to that river years ago and then followed the river down to Stechelberg, and it was brutal on the knees for the down-descent portion. It also sounded like you two felt the Tanzboden down into the valley and then the valley down to Stechelberg was also difficult. In general, I find it bad to descend anywhere from Murren or Gimmelwald into the Lauterbrunnen Valley BUT feel the Wengen to Wengwald to Lauterbrunnen descent is not nearly as bad.
I know Philippines have so many beautiful places too. I'm from Philippines. Just sharing. But before I die I hope I could visit Switzerland. Amazingly beautiful 😍
Hi Guys, I have seen your swiss travel videos, lovely location and useful tips for budgeting ideas ( for our upcoming trip) in the first week. Generallt The hiking trails seems remote, and hardly anyone around, our concern/fear is do we get lost the track. Could you suggest possible hiking trails around Wengen, considering the weather in 1st week June Thanks for sharing your trip ideas, nice location Siva
Done this twice, starting from Mürren, it's easily in my top 3 favourite hikes of all time, it was incredible getting the top all to myself as I set out at around 7:30am. I highly recommend continuing on past the Hotel Obersteinberg, to see Oberhornsee which is a heart shaped lake.
Hello! I’m confused… they say the hike took about 8 hours round trip? You’ve completed it in a couple hours? Hoping to do this hike mid September.. do you know if there will be snow?
@sarahg7204 Hello, they started from Stechelberg and hiked up, whereas I started from Mürren. Also I only meant from Mürren to Tanzbodeli it takes about 2-2.5 hours without any major breaks - afterwards you'll need at least 2+ extra hours to hike back down to Stechelberg. I would be very surprised if there was any snow there in September, obviously be prepared for any eventuality but you should be fine, just make sure to pick a nice sunny day!
Nice one, thanks for the recommendation. I live in Switzerland, still have not done this hike. I am looking forward to next Summer when I can do this! I love the colour schema of your videos, it looks like film. I assume you use a LUT for grading.

Epic scenery and very nice shots/takes recording it. In the introduction you mention 14 km (8.7 miles) in 14 hours and here I have to - jokingly - ask how many times you walked that 14 km (to place the camera, record yourself, go back, pick the camera up and walk it for the third time - and I know, you will pause to take those breathtaking shots and have drone footage too). I think, worst case, on this circuit, you would do 3 km/h, when you are steadily walking (4 2/3rd hour total for the 14). So, let's turn that around - thank you for more than 9 hours of relentless suffering for the YT viewer and creating content :) (plus editing in post).
Haha no luckily it was 14km in 8 hours! Fixed the mistake. But still, it took a long time! It's not really that clear in the video, but it was really not an easy hike. Getting to the top was extremely steep for hours!
Thanks for this video. I just did a large part of this hike on Monday. The weather was great but decided not to hike up to Tanzbödeli, some rocks were kinda slippery on the way up so I turned around and hiked all the way to Oberhornsee. That was honestly the prettiest part of the hike. Tons of little waterfalls, creeks and a lake. Even got quite close to a glacier. Only saw maybe 6 other hikers on the whole day.
