Thanks for all your work. Next time you do another Q&A, I would be interested in how you determine whether it is best to stack up an entire game vs. rostering your best, researched players from different teams. I'm a newer player, only on FD so far and a lot of times super-stacks of high O/U games using a team's WR3 or RB2 along with their top guys do quite well, even when the research and your gut tell you there will be plenty of low owned WR1 and RB1 across the slate. Does it just come down to having enough lineups to cover a lot of scenarios or does blind luck play into it more than the "sharps" are letting on? Most weeks I fall somewhere in the just below breaking even range with a few decent LUs but a lot that get absolutely crushed. I don't ever get too chalky nor too contrarian but I seem to always miss big with at least one complete dud and a few underperformers, leaving me just under the cash line. Or is that just the nature of the beast? Thanks!
Very practical and sound advice. This is will be my second time playing DFS NFL. Last year, I played around the middle of the season playing in smaller GPPs and won some money but this year I expect to do better. I am looking forward to seeing all of your videos. Keep on making them videos!
Good video. Tough to capture what you consider common sense but your tips are spot-on, especially about being "contrarian." That's a lesson i had to learn the hard way, meaning expensive way.
Always good info! I'm still learning my style and trying to learn how to research better so this video just like all the others you post was very helpful.
Hey Kevin are you going to do a updated pick video before week one or email updated picks referring to your last video? Thanks big fan been watching your vids for 2 years now and you made me a ton of cash
This is what I find so difficult about daily fantasy...the first 2 strategies. You have to start well researched players who make sense based on what they cost and their matchup and then strategy number 2 is basically start people who make no sense to start just because you will be the only one with them.
I wish I kept track at the beginning of the season. I played too many GPPs and didnt even win any cash. When I played the multpliers on fanduel I had a 60% sucess rate. It wasn't until week 9 that I realized I was a cash game player vs a gpp player.
Kevin, are the NFL week 1 picks that you put out a week or so ago still good? Are you changing them up at all or adding new players to your week 1 picks? Thanks!
question. does it affect your R.O.I. if you pick two wide receivers on opposing teams. example ODB and Dez Bryant in week 1. would that be a positvie or a negative play considering the suspension and injuries the cowboys have? and the fact for some dumb reason i think dez will have a good game
I'm totally new to the using of tools. I have played fanduel before. is this good for beginners? can I get automatic recommended lineups? or do I have to learn and put it a bunch of stuff? I need it simple
If i had any questions on my line up could you help me out a bit? Im have a lineup with afternoon games only and i was wondering if i could get some sorta advice
Started with fanduel in 2013, won 5grand us, which came out to about 7000$ cdn (im canadian), got kicked off fanduel for changing my username, (made a username with my last name to begin with, i changed my username because i wanted no one to know my last name on the boards), thats a fanduel NO-NO, which i didnt know...banned for life....started on draftkings in 2014, no luck since..its a bigger market than fanduel, with way bigger prizes. Its tough. You cant go with superstars all the time, when you think obj and company will have big games, they catch 2 passes all game, majority if the time, i found secondary wrs make the big plays. Its a gamble. Ill play roughly 100$/week, which gives you 20 set picks in the big $ tournaments...here is the only advice i can give, the winners Always Always have the most ridiculous lineups you can imagine, that would never think in a million years they would be successful, but its damn true. Youd never think that pairing up mike gilislee and frank gore would be a winner, nooooo!! Hell no, youd probably pick barkley, and hunt, because they get shit done. Thats just it, theres no plan on it..i compare winning draftkings or fanduel to winning the lottery. Although i kniw someone personally that won the big prize of 100grand$ on fanduel, so everythings possible. Great video by the way. I love your #6...that rule has been my biggest fault, pairing qb with his go-to
In regards of being contrarian, do you like the concept of taking the opposing teams QB or #1 receiver against a team you think will put up a bunch of points since they will be forced to play from behind?
When the contest starts it will show a % in the DraftKings App or website... before hand you have to project it... I did a video on that you can find on my RUclips channel
I have. It's unpredictable. Teams will mix things up to do the unexpected. i.e. The Cowboys might decide to throw the ball to Dez Bryant the most in one game, then in the next game against the very same team, Bryant gets his number called very little and it's all about Witten and Williams, or Butler and Beasley, or some other combo. For most teams in most games, anyone who thinks they know which receivers will get the most targets against any given opponent in any given week is offering up pure speculation. For many teams, you can't even predict how much they'll utilize a given RB.
I started listening to you 2 years ago and I am starting to win money now. you are awesome

Man I am the most cautious person out there and am not at all gullible, but you are the real deal. You help me win some good money last year

Love the videos Kevin, appreciate your input, looking to win something this year!!
Thanks and good luck this year!
New to draftkings...great insight
love theses videos, keep them coming man!!.
Thanks and will do!
Hey Kevin, awesome videos man! Good luck this season!
Always good info! I'm still learning my style and trying to learn how to research better so this video just like all the others you post was very helpful.
You mentioned podcasts, are there any in particular that you listen to or would recommend? And thanks for all these videos! Awesome job!

Really Appreciate all your videos

Lefty are the best
Hey Kevin are you going to do a updated pick video before week one or email updated picks referring to your last video? Thanks big fan been watching your vids for 2 years now and you made me a ton of cash
yeah most likely, or another video. Good luck again this year!

Great advice I have posted this already on my board.
Headed into my 2nd year of DFS and have loved your videos since day 1! Btw, what do you think of Chris Hogan this week?
Thanks man... and I think he could be a GPP play for the first couple weeks
kept doing that with Melvins Gordon last year killed me lol
How do you determine which tournaments to play and which ones are the most profitable?
love the videos kevin!
Thanks man!
Nice work keep it coming

Pat Johnson played all year, ignoring the multipliers. Played last week & really liked it. Totally regret missing that all year. :(
Good stuff man, thanks
thank you for the insight.
Thanks for the awesome tips!!!
Does $90 cover fantasy labs for the full year????
It's regularly $90/month... but they've got a limited time offer going right now
that is per month..
Great info.
Kevin your awesome thanks for helping would love to get a chance to run some stuff by ya thanks man
You can post here on youtube... I try to answer as much as I can here
Awesome, thanks dude!
Love #10
Fantasy labs is very proud of their website. 60$ a month? That's insane
😂 $60/month is insane?? It doesn't fit in everyone's budget, but it is very fair considering all of the tools and content you're getting
Yo Kevin who's a must must pick this week that u need in your line up and stack ??? Thanks
I've got a DraftKings and FanDuel picks video on my channel
Kevin, are the NFL week 1 picks that you put out a week or so ago still good? Are you changing them up at all or adding new players to your week 1 picks? Thanks!
I still like them all ... will email out an update before Sunday
Thank you
Preciate the info my guy
Nice video

Nope there is actually a positive correlations between two WR1s... if one has a big game it makes it more likely for the other to
Do you like going against the grain and choosing QB's that are playing tough defenses?
Not often, unless for some reason I think they will have a big game
I'm totally new to the using of tools. I have played fanduel before. is this good for beginners? can I get automatic recommended lineups? or do I have to learn and put it a bunch of stuff? I need it simple
It takes a bit of work but is pretty simple
who are your top 5 rbs in order for fanduel...i subscribe to fantasylabs and use the player models but am still learning how to use it best.
What do you think of SleeperBot
If i had any questions on my line up could you help me out a bit? Im have a lineup with afternoon games only and i was wondering if i could get some sorta advice
What site or app do you prefer most to get your Vegas info?
That limited time offer would cover me for the NFL season tho correct?
just 1 month
Week 1 Arian Foster or Woodhead in 1/2 point PPR ?!
How often do you stack players in 50/50s and double ups?
I don't play them much, but I would stack a single WR with a QB probably 90% of the time
How many lineups do you generally enter per week in PPP's
Can't really answer this ... it changes all the time and also depends on the size of the contest.... sometimes 1, sometimes 150
Is there something like this for boxing?
Kevin, do fantasy labs help with fanduel lineups? or just draftkings. thanks
FanDuel as well

Nvm I understand now
In regards of being contrarian, do you like the concept of taking the opposing teams QB or #1 receiver against a team you think will put up a bunch of points since they will be forced to play from behind?
Yes that can often be a good strategy
Matt Ryan @ home
Or Blake bortles @ home vs gb
Who would I rather take? Bortles for me
Hey baby
a good way to be contrarian this week is to roster Tom Brady, he will be super low owned
lol
Did you end up having a good season??
Who are some of the beat writers to read?
I usually just follow guys like Adam Levitan on twitter and they often retweet important tweets... or look at the FantasyLabs news updates
More
how did you fair whe. you first started?
Pretty bad when I first started... but once I got a hang of it I did well fairly quick
me and a co worker were watching your videos earlier and you inspired us to go ahead and give it a shot. would love some starter tips!
Contrarian- person who opposes or rejects popular opinion for example in FanDuel.
How can i see the ownership of a player?
When the contest starts it will show a % in the DraftKings App or website... before hand you have to project it... I did a video on that you can find on my RUclips channel
Thanks
im upset that i cant play this year
Hopefully they come back soon
Who is Vegas
Las Vegas lol
+The Sports Geek 😂😂😂😂

At 1:27, how would anyone know which defenders an offense is going to focus on? Only an idiot team would give that info away to anybody in advance.
Do some research
