My judo (black belt level) saved my life at least two times in motorcycle accidents. Learning to fall is so critically important. I am here today, in one piece due to proper falling. It works even on the asphalt at high speed. I don't drive motorcycles anymore, but I will be a martial artist till I'm no longer able.

Not Gage you should've tried it with your friend sitting on his knee and having his left knee up. If you easily hit his thigh you can move up to standing and make him put his left leg off the ground. It sounds stupid but it's a good way to prevent nasty things from happening.
Maybe I should look into even more martial arts that could hospitalize someone..... (I got into a fight with my midget father, and next time, I want to break him)
I'm going to start Judo soon :) My school for BJJ teaches it so when soccer ends I'm going to take classes. If you've never been thrown, it's fun to fly through the air :D

But he should also know it took him 20+ years of practice to get this level of technique... 2 minutes isn't enough to even start to practice, even if you watch the video many, many times. You need an instructor, or at least a partner who's had some experience, or else people are going to get hurt.

Harai goshi is way faster and does way more damage than a o goshi in my opinion. I tried it in class with no gi, and i felt the difference in the power of that particular throw.
