      Hi there, unfortunately Stackable does not offer a form block at the moment. I will suggest you to use WP Forms, it is one of my favourites ;) Free version: wordpress.org/plugins/wpforms-lite/ Premium versione (referral link) takeatutorial.com/wpforms

    Great vid.
    But am I creating a vendor lock when using Stackable to create pages and posts?
    Page layout will probably greatly fail if I ever decide to disable Stackable in the future?

    • @wproads
      @wproads  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, there is always a form of “vendor lock” when you build content using a specific WordPress plugin. But if you want to switch from stackable to simple Gutenberg blocks you’ll be able to do it manually and adjusting the layout of all your pages/content. For this reason I always suggest to create the blog content with standard Gutenberg blocks and use the advanced stackable blocks only on template parts and static pages.

    Which theme works well/best with Stackable?

    • @wproads
      @wproads  7 месяцев назад +1

      Stackable works well with many classic themes, but the best for me is Blocksy ;) ruclips.net/video/bHiXLl_-YqU/видео.html

      Thanks for the reply. I'm building an informal poll of WP "in the trenches" users. Let's stay with all FREE for now. So Blocksy for a theme? After Blocksy for the theme, what do you like for block add-ons and then what do you like for a page builder, if any. Let's stay with WordPress Core to begin with, then move on to Elementor.

    Appreciate the video tutorials. Could you please explain how/mouse clicks ( Go and Here.. is what and where ?) Here is: Where, explain as if, i am using a screen reader only. It's not what you're doing but How you're doing it. Yes, i'm a beginner. A more detailed explanation would help greatly. I understand English is not your primary language. I appreciate your efforts... Here_😅

    Are there any pretty templates optimized for product introductions or reviews?

    • @wproads
      @wproads  Год назад

      Hi, not specifically, if you search for that kind of templates/layouts/sections you can find them in GreenShift plugin: takeatutorial.com/greenshift-products you can see them in action in my latest affiliate marketing tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/6KWlCwKjhlA/видео.html

      thanks for the recommendation I'll refer you to it. One more question. When using Gudenberg blocks such as Stackable, is it possible to use them with our own builders such as Elemento Builder or Newspaper? After installing Stackable from Newspaper, I tested it and it seems to crash. Can you give me some advice?

    • @wproads
      @wproads  Год назад

      Hi, if you want you can have both Elementor and Stackable active on your website, you can use Elementor when you enable it on a page/post or you can use Gutenberg/Stackable when you are creating a page/post with the WP editor. I don't know Newspaper personally (is it a theme?) in that case I suggest you to write to their support desk.

    • @user-l9v7xff567

      @@wproadsYes that's right Newspaper is a theme. From what you said, there seems to be no problem using Elemento and Stackable.

    Does anyone else find that this plugin has really slowed their site down, especially in the page editor? It's taking me forever to build content and do simple things, even like typing some text. I wasn't experiencing this before installing the plugin.

    • @wproads
      @wproads  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, I have experienced that a few times for big pages with lot of content, I know that in each new update they work on performance improvements so make sure to update to the latest version too. It could also depend on the theme and plugin you have active on your WordPress website. If the speed is very slow I’ll suggest you to contact their support so that they can check 👍

    Greenshift vs Stackable? Which is better?

    • @wproads
      @wproads  Год назад +1

      I find that Stackable is more "solid" and "polished" but Greenshift has some more powerful options for animations and highly customizable designs. In my opinion: if you need great design capabilities and animations go with Greenshift, if you need usability, easiness to use, and good dynamic features go with Stackable.

    • @mecrayavcin
      @mecrayavcin Год назад +1

      @@wproads I bought Greenshift. I think there are some parts are hard in the courses. 40 videos and almost 10 hours. And the worst thing is WordPress post editor. Because it installs too many things when you are in the admin panel, also inside page editor. So when you work with greenshift, often you can not see the live changings inside editor. There are too many problems, you change some settings but it does not affect page instantly, but sometimes there are no problem. If there is a problem You must published pages then you can see the results. Out of this issues I think it is a good page editor.
