He was angry because he never understood what really happened to him as he was given no choice. That's why he always offers people to choose if they want to be a vampire. Christian Slater and Tom Cruise in that scene is awesome
*Turns on radio for epic exit* damn Lestat you savage!
Thank you Quarantine for allowing me the time to finally watch this classic. The ending is hilarious, I was so caught off guard LOL! Love Tom Cruise.
Tom Cruise was just Amazing as Lestat.
This ending Scene was just insspired.
Love the end lines
" I'm you going to give you the choice, I never had! "
I feel like this role fit Tom Cruise perfectly
I cannot imagine the better Lestat tbh. Tom Cruise freaking nailed it!
Louis, Louis, still whining - 'I've had to listen to that for centuries' :P
One of the coolest characters he's ever played
i really wish we got a proper sequel with tom cruise as lestat :/
Agree I think this last scene was Tom Cruise best performance, he is just so like the song, so like lestat.
Hottest Vampire EVER!!!!!!!!
Tom Gave Us A Badass Performance We Never Had.
Its so funny when he said that he listened it for centuries :D
-Aggravated tone- “Have you heard enough? I had to listen to that, for centuries” =D
RIP Anne Rice.... books were a masterclass....
tom cruise class actor, have always thought so since (don't laugh) far and away
still WHINING Louis
I watched the movie last week for the first time and it was brilliant. Especially the ending😍👍🏻 also that song🤩❤
best vampire movie ever!!!
I feel better already
Great choice of songs!! How the fuck is Tom that talented??
Mark Isabell he didn't sing it ;-) kidding
Still watch this even to this day. I love this movie very much. Such a great plot and interesting array of personalities.
LMFAO "STILL WHINING LOUIS" 😂😂😂😂 His music choose tho hahahahahahahahahaha
A pick up line from hell "I'm going to give you the choice that I never had"
Louis oh whining Louis lol love Tom cruise’s performance
something the director really captured is how beautiful and innocent the vampires look yet when they bite and in other scenes they look truly demonic and horrifying.
I love that
Enough whining
I had to listen to that for centuries
This is a perfect ending one of the best endings in any films I've seen. Goosebumps knowing the vampire Lestat is now running around in present day
What I want to know is why it took so many years to get his strength back .
@@delboy-su3wf other shit happened to him too I think in the books for whatever reason he had an argument with Armand in his already weakened state and Armand knocked him off a building and he broke a bunch of bones I think.
You can't see this scene in the same way when you find out that the original actor for the interviewer was River Phoenix, imagine that, a movie with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and River Phoenix.
@@the_aimeerowley4531 Christian Slater is one of my favourite actors. I loved him in Heathers and Mr Robot
@@Nana-fg3prchristian donated all the money he earned from the film to rivers favourite charities because he felt uncomfortable taking the money
Tom was fantastic in this!
However- I’m also here to defend the TV show - which many are trashing but I am loving! I will say that the actor who plays Lestat is absolutely perfect and embodying him in ways I’ve never seen before.
Me encanta Lestat! Lo adoro! Su forma de ser, su falta de sentimientos tiene su encanto. Tiene clase tbn. Me fascina! Y se ve muy atractivo
The most classic vampire movie of all time. I thought I was the only one that appreciated the movie, but platform like this confirms that people like me do exist. Thank you RUclips.
This is such the essence of Lestat... I keep expecting him to start singing and dancing :D
top 10 best film endings ever.
Finally 'anti-hero' type guy comes out on top...huh, what?
There is something irresistibly sexy about an evil laugh
I love when he fluffs up his sleeves at 0:49
When you see Tom Cruise driving a convertible, that's the Tom Cruise we know
I have rewatched this movie again and it's such an amazing piece of art! Tom Cruise owned the role (and the entire movie IMO) and his delivery was absolutely perfect, not to even mention this great ending! I think I'll make a tradition of rewatching this movie at least once a year 😉
