    That ended rather abruptly. There's a part 2 in the making I suppose.
    This is a great review of IBB's time at the helm of Nigeria. Such a review would not be complete, however, without a mention of his healthy respect for (some would say fear of) Sani Abacha, which was driven home by the Orkar coup of 1990 and led to significant changes, not least of which was the relocation of the seat of government to Abuja and the acceleration of IBB's departure from government.

    • @mr7teen922
      @mr7teen922 3 месяца назад +3

      That respect of Sani Abacha was mainly because he (IBB) knew the person of Abacha in Nigerian Military history. I'd say its just a show of how smart IBB was instead of how much "respect" he had for Abacha.

    All said here are personal opinions. IBB was easily our best president except for June 12. All the key policies today are still based on IBB
    - 6-3-3-4 for education
    - Primary health care
    - MAMSER, DFFRI, NDE, School on Wheel, privitization of economy, NIPSS...the list endless
    He remains our most powerful ex- president today...
