Great question! You can read about the Pharisees and other denominations of teachers of the law at the first coming in the 4 gospels. They were the authority of their congregation members, but what they taught kept people from coming out to Jesus. They blocked the way to Jesus with their authority (Mt 23:13). These written accounts are examples of false pastors forever recorded in the scripture. But you will begin to see examples today as you learn more about the open word! 😊 🙇‍♀️ 📖
