Thanks for this! Just what I needed in cloning up from a 1TB to 2TB M.2. Just note that in the latest version of the software, they’ve included an option to up-size your usable partition during the clone process. After choosing your destination disk, click the Copy Partition button on the destination and choose, “Shrink or extend to fill the target disk.” That’ll claim the unused portion of your new drive for use.
Wow, everyone else made this seem so complicated, this was concise and to the point. Love that you showed how to change around partition sizes and create a new drive. Thanks!!!
Nice vid ! I'm about to receive a yoga 2 in 1 laptop and I want to upgrade the ssd. If I do clone the old ssd, will I lose the fingerprint reader, facial recognition, the stylus drivers etc ? Or everything will transfer ?
I have an hp desktop 128 nvme m.2 and my op systems on it, i have a hdd 1 terabyte as well. Is this video basicaly what i need to do to upgrade my 128 to a 1 terbyte which is my c; drive? Great vid, i subbed,, or is a external ssd to 3.0 usb as fast as doing the m.2 upgrade. Im wanting to put and run steam games . Is the ext. Ssd as good or should i upgrade the m.2,, cost isnt really an issue
after Installing the Cloned C:drive, make sure your Programs actually Open properly!! Did this, and my CAD program (ActCAD) did not, popping-up and "error" warning only. grrrr Maybe some software realizes its NOT on the original C:drive?
