The Caribbean is not USA and obviously for the same reason there are US models for weather around the world. And fyi the hurricanes spawn off the coast of Africa which is closer to Europe then we are and they have territories all throughout the Caribbean.

Why is there a European model for the USA?

The European model is generally the most accurate model when compared to the GFS.
